Bias Tugel Beach

This stunning beach has captured my heart since my backpacking days in 1998. While the once rustic beachfront has now transformed into modern concrete restaurants, the crystal-clear water remains as breathtaking as ever. Although it may require a bit of a trek to reach, locals may try to steer you towards the blue lagoon instead. However, trust me when I say that this is the spot you won't want to miss. Just be cautious of the current if you're traveling with little ones.

Sengkidu Beach

This serene and idyllic beach is the perfect spot for a romantic date or a picturesque photo shoot. Despite being located just a stone's throw away from the main road, the tranquil atmosphere here is unrivaled. The waves here are gentle and calm, making it an ideal spot for snorkeling and swimming, especially for children. Local warungs offer a range of refreshing drinks and snacks, while hotels along the beach provide comfortable accommodation. Many locals flock to this beach to bask in the beauty of the sunset and spend quality time with loved ones.

Kusamba Segara Beach

I absolutely adore this beach - the view is simply stunning, and the sunrise is truly breathtaking.

Goa Lawah Beach

The beach offers a mesmerizingly deep blue ocean and is adorned with striking black sand.

Lepang Beach

This location is truly remarkable. It boasts the most exceptional black sand beach in Klungkung. The sunset that graces this beach is simply breathtaking. I have established a routine of strolling and jogging along the shore in the afternoons, and I find the ambiance here to be incredibly positive. However, it is important to be aware of the high waves that can occur, and as a result, swimming is not recommended. Furthermore, it is worth noting that there may be instances where organic debris from Balinese ceremonies can be found on the sand.

Blue Lagoon Beach

We had an incredible time snorkeling at the beach, where we were treated to a stunning display of vibrant coral reefs and an array of colorful fish. To top it off, we were lucky enough to spot a graceful turtle swimming gracefully among the marine life. The snorkeling company was flexible with their pricing, which made the experience even more enjoyable. For just $80 CAD, my companion and I were able to charter a private boat and visit two different snorkeling spots, where we had the freedom to explore for over an hour at each location.
