Sucia Beach

The road leading to the beach is filled with potholes, but it is still passable as long as you drive slowly. Unfortunately, the beach itself is not very enjoyable due to the excessive amount of seaweed. The landscape, however, would have been incredibly beautiful if it weren't for the seaweed. Although there are hiking opportunities nearby, our main purpose for coming was to relax on the beach. If you have the same intention, I would recommend going somewhere else for now.

Villa Mela offers a rustic and enjoyable beach experience, perfect for those seeking a laid-back bungalow vibe rather than glamorous camping. Some updates to the kitchen and bathroom would be beneficial, but overall it's a great spot. As a local, I visited with my sister and niece and they also enjoyed it. I look forward to returning soon.

However, upon closer inspection, I can attest that this beach truly is a slice of heaven on the main island of Puerto Rico. Its beauty is truly breathtaking and unparalleled. What's more, this beach is incredibly easy to access and its waters are crystal clear, making it the perfect spot for swimming and snorkeling.
