To make your choice easier, we have prepared a list of the best beaches for relaxation in Phang-nga.

Attraction and Infrastructure

As for the main features of the beaches of Phang-nga, they are as follows:

  • The region's beaches are mainly narrow, moderate length and have a high level of cleanliness. The most common surface is sand of bright color.
  • Usually, entry into the water is moderately gentle, such beaches are 64.
  • An important clarification, 16 beaches in the region have a long intertidal zone, which means that during low tide hours you may have to travel a considerable distance. This is also something to consider if you don't want to suddenly be in the water at high tide.
  • The average distance from the road to beach in Phang-nga is less than 500 meters. 50 beaches are relatively easy to access, 4 beaches are difficult to access, which in most cases means that you have to walk a quite long distance, and 43 beaches are only accessible from the water. The latter include both island beaches and beaches with no land routes due to the natural borders.

Wild beaches with no infrastructure dominate the coastline of Phang-nga however, even here you can find a beach with a standard set of accessories: sun beds, umbrellas, restaurants, showers and toilets.

This hotel is a small boutique located on an island with stunning natural surroundings. It offers a peaceful escape from the busy tourist areas of Thailand, making it the perfect choice for couples looking to unwind. The staff is incredibly friendly and provides excellent service. The pool area and rooms offer lovely views, making it a highly recommended destination.

Ko Naka Yai Beach
10 Nirasha K.

The beach we discovered was refreshingly devoid of the typical tourist hustle and bustle, which we found to be a delightful change of pace. It proved to be the perfect spot for unwinding and enjoying some peace and quiet. Our visit to this serene haven was the final stop on our Phang Nga Bay excursion, and we were enamored with its tranquil atmosphere.

Naka Noi Island Beach
10 Rina Adams

This beach, located approximately 30 minutes away from Phuket by boat, is absolutely stunning. Whether you choose to start your island hopping adventure here or elsewhere, there is a small area where you can enjoy refreshing drinks and grab a bite to eat. Despite its appearance of being abandoned, it is actually a very nice beach. I believe there used to be a resort here, but it has since closed down. If you're interested, you can rent snorkelling equipment and explore the underwater world, where you may encounter various fish and crabs. Additionally, there are washrooms and showers available if you need to change during your visit, as well as Jet Skis for rent. Don't forget to bring your FaceTime!

White Sand Beach
10 Kai Schmidt

This beach has stunning white sand and is perfect for leisurely strolls.

Hapla Beach

We had a fantastic experience at Hapla Beach Cottage. The room was impeccably clean and offered a beautiful view of the beach. The staff was incredibly friendly, accommodating, and provided a personal touch. Additionally, the food prepared by the cook was absolutely delicious. The beach itself was pristine and peaceful. Overall, we had such a great time that we would definitely consider visiting again in the future.

Khao Na Yak Golden Beach
10 Zarek Flores Garcia

This is a secluded beach that only locals seem to know about. It's not easy to get to, but once you do, you'll be rewarded with pristine white sand that's perfect for lounging and playing. You could easily spend an entire day here. The water is a stunning emerald green and so clear that you can see right to the bottom. It's definitely worth checking out.

Finding hotels in relative proximity to the beaches is usually fine. Many beaches have enough nearby accommodation, which gives good opportunities to choose the right place to stay.
