Napili Bay Beach

This beach is an excellent option for families seeking a relaxing day out. The sand is soft and the waves are gentle, making it an ideal spot for swimming or paddleboarding. We arrived early and were able to secure a parking spot on Napili Pl without any trouble. While there were people coming and going, it was not nearly as crowded as some of the other beaches in the area. Don't be deterred by the no beach access sign - this is a great spot to spend a few hours or an entire day.

Kapalua Bay Beach

We had an amazing time during our vacation while spending a couple of days at this beach. The snorkelling experience was exceptional with a plethora of fish and turtles to witness. The waves were gentle and soothing, at least during our stay, and the beach was not too crowded, which made it even more enjoyable. Although parking was limited, we were content with everything else. This beach has undoubtedly become our favourite spot on the island.

Fleming Beach

This beach is perfect for bodyboarding and playing in the waves. There are plenty of parking spots, restrooms, and even a lifeguard on duty. However, it might not be the best choice for young children because the waves can be quite big.

Oneloa Beach

This beach is a stunning destination, complete with a charming boardwalk that connects to the Kapalua scenic coastal trail. We were fortunate enough to choose this location for our wedding.

Slaughterhouse Beach

While driving by, we decided to investigate the reason behind the parked cars. We stumbled upon a spooky staircase that led us to a hidden gem of a beach. The water was crystal clear and the scenery was breathtaking. We couldn't resist taking impromptu photos, which turned out to be the best shoot we've ever had.

Pohaku beach

This charming beach is an ideal location for surfing enthusiasts, although the snorkeling experience may not be as impressive. However, towards the end of the day, you can often spot turtles swimming in the crystal-clear waters. Locally known as S-Turns, this area is perfect for those seeking a peaceful and relaxing getaway. During our visit, we were lucky enough to witness a magnificent whale swimming just 200 yards away from the shore.
