Ke'Ei Beach
10 John S. Anderson

This place is perfect for cliff jumping or heading down to the sandy section for families with young children and sunbathing.

Magic Sands Beach

This quaint beach is bursting with charm, lively individuals, and breathtaking vistas. The rocky terrain provides an opportunity to spot small sea creatures, adding to the allure of the locale. Although the waves can be forceful, particularly during low tide, it is an invigorating experience to navigate the current. In my opinion, this spot is ideal for witnessing stunning sunsets, surpassing even the Pier in town. I am certain that I will return to this delightful spot in the future.

This charming beach is a true gem. You have the option to rent snorkeling equipment from a nearby shack, and the underwater world is teeming with a variety of colorful fish. It's definitely worth taking a dip and exploring the aquatic wonders.

Alula beach

This charming beach is a hidden gem that offers a relaxed and laid-back atmosphere. The only drawback is that the water is not crystal clear, which may not be ideal for snorkeling enthusiasts. However, if you are looking to catch a glimpse of sea turtles, this beach is teeming with them.

Ho‘okena Beach

What a hidden gem this beach turned out to be! The sand was simply stunning, the entire area was immaculately clean, and the water was so tranquil - perfect for snorkeling. While we were there, we were lucky enough to witness a group of dolphins frolicking in the sea. However, it's worth noting that parking is limited, so make sure to arrive early to secure a spot. The pavilion provided ample shade, and the availability of bathrooms and showers was a welcome bonus.

Two Step Beach

This is a lovely destination to explore! Show respect and have a great time at the Bay. The official name of this beach is Honaunau Beach, hence its location on Honaunau Beach Rd. The local community finds it quite disrespectful to refer to it as Two Steps Beach, especially considering that their families have resided in the neighboring land for five or more generations. However, you'll be treated to breathtaking sights of various marine creatures, and if you're lucky, you might even catch a glimpse of dolphins or turtles in the vicinity.
