What a hidden gem this beach turned out to be! The sand was simply stunning, the entire area was immaculately clean, and the water was so tranquil - perfect for snorkeling. While we were there, we were lucky enough to witness a group of dolphins frolicking in the sea. However, it's worth noting that parking is limited, so make sure to arrive early to secure a spot. The pavilion provided ample shade, and the availability of bathrooms and showers was a welcome bonus.

Two Step Beach

This is a lovely destination to explore! Show respect and have a great time at the Bay. The official name of this beach is Honaunau Beach, hence its location on Honaunau Beach Rd. The local community finds it quite disrespectful to refer to it as Two Steps Beach, especially considering that their families have resided in the neighboring land for five or more generations. However, you'll be treated to breathtaking sights of various marine creatures, and if you're lucky, you might even catch a glimpse of dolphins or turtles in the vicinity.

Pebbles Beach

This beach is rocky and secluded, located at the bottom of a steep and winding neighborhood road. With only a handful of visitors, it feels like a private slice of Hawai'i. The main attraction is the snorkeling, as the drop-off makes it unsuitable for bodyboarding or wading in the sandbar.

Manini Beach

This place is simply wonderful! The sunset scenery is breathtakingly beautiful and the snorkeling experience is fantastic, especially when the ocean is tranquil. However, it's advisable to wear shoes while entering the water as the pathway can be rocky. Even as a novice swimmer, I found the snorkeling to be comfortable and enjoyable in this serene location.
