Turtle Beach
8 Nathan Finch.

This beach on the North Shore is decent. It may be enjoyable if you're not used to going to beaches, but there are many other spots on the island that are superior. However, it's not a bad place to go. It's great for swimming and snorkeling, especially if you have children. Additionally, there's a lovely trail along the waterfront. If you're not a guest at Turtle Bay Resort, there are parking spots accessible from the shoreline, but they fill up quickly, so arriving early is recommended.

Waimea Bay Beach
10 Lena Johansen

We were overjoyed to stumble upon this hidden gem of a beach. The scenery was breathtakingly gorgeous and the waves were just right for a day of fun in the sun. Unfortunately, our snorkeling adventure didn't yield much success as we only spotted one species of fish. On top of that, the parking situation was less than ideal and we had to rely on luck to secure a spot. But in the end, we were fortunate enough to score a spot just as someone was leaving.

Sunset Beach Park
10 Lirien Valtara

This stunning beach boasts a breathtaking view that will leave you in awe. To fully appreciate the beauty of the sunset, be sure to arrive early in the afternoon as it tends to get crowded quickly. Additionally, there is a convenient food option nearby for your convenience.

Three Tables Beach
10 Sarina Katsaros.

Located on the North Shore of Oahu Hawaii, Three Tables Beach is a top snorkeling destination thanks to the protection provided by three large flat rocks. The beach is part of the Püpükea Marine Life Conservation District and boasts live coral and an abundance of fish. Shade-seekers will appreciate the trees lining the beach and parking is available on the street or in a nearby lot. Don't forget to check out Pupukea Grill while you're in the area!

Velzyland Beach
10 Scentilla

This beach is stunning and somewhat secluded, located in a quiet neighborhood on the North Shore. The sand is a lovely shade of pink and feels soft to the touch. While there is a slightly rocky entry point, you can easily find a smoother sandy entry nearby.

Laniakea Beach
10 Majestic Narwhal

This beach is simply stunning. It's a free beach, so it's hard to find any faults with it. Sure, parking can be a bit of a challenge, but it's well worth the effort to get there. We arrived at around 11am and were lucky enough to see turtles starting to emerge. It took a little while for them to come all the way up, but it was truly breathtaking to see them up close and in their natural habitat. The sand can get pretty hot, so make sure you have some flip-flops handy. Just be patient and you'll be rewarded with the sight of these magnificent creatures. The water is crystal clear and if you walk further down the beach, there are plenty of spots to take a refreshing swim. This beach is definitely worth the drive and will leave you with memories that will last a lifetime.
