This is definitely a beach worth checking out. The weather was scorching hot and the sun was shining brightly when he visited. One of the great things about this charming, secluded lagoon was that we could sit on the grass without getting too sandy. It's a perfect spot for young kids to swim safely in the sheltered lagoon while still having access to the open ocean. The water was crystal clear and not too deep, and we even spotted some sea turtles.

Onekahakaha Beach

We hosted an event and booked Pavilion 2 & 3. The area offered ample room, where we positioned a few vendors in the center to serve food and drinks. The tide pools were ideal for swimming with young children, while some individuals enjoyed fishing, strolling along the rocks, and unwinding in the pavilions, enjoying the pleasant breeze.

Richardson Ocean Park

This charming black sand beach is currently undergoing construction on its parking area as of December 2022. While it may not be the ideal spot for an all-day beach day, it's definitely worth a visit for its unique black sand and picturesque weathered tree stumps. Although we didn't spot any sea turtles during our visit, we were informed that they do make occasional appearances here. Overall, this beach is a great spot for a quick stop and some stunning photo opportunities.

This beach is a true reflection of the local culture, with a laid-back atmosphere that attracts surfers from all over. It's a treat to watch the locals ride the waves with ease. The unique black sand adds to the beauty of the place. While there are no facilities available and the road leading to the beach is narrow, the stunning view makes it worth the trip.
