We had an amazing week in Kauai and this beach was the perfect spot! It wasn't too busy, the scenery was stunning, and it was ideal for swimming and bodyboarding. On our last day, we even had the pleasure of seeing a sea turtle swimming with us!

Moloa'a Beach

We spent 10 days at a beachfront house in Moloa'a beach and it felt like we had the entire Kauai beach to ourselves. It's definitely the best kept secret on the island!

Paliku Beach

The beach's pathway was like a small tunnel of trees, which was quite charming. Although the waves were too rough for kids, adults could enjoy their beauty. The sand was amazing, smooth, and spotless. It was not crowded on a Thursday afternoon, which was perfect for us. The walkway to the beach was impressive, and you can see it in the pictures. This beach has become one of my favorites, and I would definitely recommend it. We didn't see any donkeys, though!

This charming beach is a wonderful spot to relax and unwind. A designated kiddie pool has been constructed to shield the waves and create a secure swimming area for children. The sandy shoreline is accompanied by a rocky reef that looms near the shore, so caution is necessary when wading out. However, there is a location where you can enter the water without fear of this obstacle. Additionally, there is another rocky barrier approximately 100 yards from the shore, so it's essential to exercise caution. Most visitors to this beach prefer to soak up the sun and bask in its beauty, with only a few daring to venture into the open water. Despite this, it remains a fantastic destination.

This beach is supposedly cool, but let's be real - it's just another strip of sand and water like any other. Sure, it's secluded, but that just means you won't have anyone to complain to about how underwhelming it is. And don't even get me started on the hike to get there - it's not impossible, but it's definitely not worth the effort. If you really want to waste your time, just follow the boring trail from the parking lot and crawl over some rocks. But honestly, you're better off finding a beach that's actually worth your time.

This petite yet powerful beach is a gem 💎. Our stay at the house, which was located right along the shoreline, was absolutely delightful. While swimming in the crystal-clear waters may require some careful navigation due to the presence of coral and rocks, the experience is well worth it. The beach itself is truly great and the diverse wildlife that can be spotted here is simply awe-inspiring.
