This part of the island boasts one of the finest black sand beaches, and it's definitely worth a visit. However, it's advisable to wear non-slip footwear, as the path leading down to the beach can be quite rocky and steep in some areas. In case it's raining, be extra cautious as the path can become slippery. It's worth noting that this beach is known to have nude sunbathers, so be aware of that. We stumbled upon this fact unexpectedly, but it didn't detract from our enjoyment of the beach. Overall, I highly recommend a visit to this stunning beach.

When we went to the beach, we noticed that it had a rocky shoreline and the waves were quite strong. It was the first black sand beach we visited on the island. Unfortunately, we couldn't locate the hot spring that was mentioned on the map and by other reviewers.

The warmest month during the year in this area is August, with the air temperature rising up to 26.6°C and the water temperature up to 26.9°C. The coldest month is March, with the air temperature dropping down to 22.8°C and the water temperature down to 23.9°C.
