We absolutely loved this beach! The hike down was a bit steep, but there were ropes on both sides of the path to assist. The water was stunningly clear and the beach itself was fantastic.

This stunning beach is the epitome of tranquility, providing a safe and welcoming environment for families to enjoy. The gentle waves lapping at the shore create a serene atmosphere, while the pristine condition of the beach ensures a clean and comfortable experience. Parking is conveniently located nearby, and finding a spot has never been an issue. The facilities are also top-notch, with clean bathrooms and outdoor showers available without any long waits. Overall, this beach is a true gem and a must-visit for anyone seeking a peaceful and enjoyable day in the sun.

Kauapea Beach

Wow, what a beach! It's absolutely stunning, awe-inspiring, and just downright wonderful. I couldn't help but repeat these words to the small crowd of beach bums around me. Although the descent was steep, it wasn't too challenging, so make sure to check out the Secret Beach Trailhead on Google Maps to get here quicker. While there were quite a few surfers, the beach wasn't too crowded, earning it the nickname Quiet Beach. However, it's not so secret anymore, as many people seem to know about it. I suppose the cat's out of the bag. Keep in mind that it's not the best spot for snorkeling during the winter months. Don't forget to give this review a thumbs up!

Anini Beach

Without a doubt, the snorkeling experience at this beach is unparalleled since my arrival in Kauai. The water is placid, which is essential for capturing close-up shots, and it is shallow enough to avoid any significant loss of light. Although it is evident that the coral has suffered damage, the sights are still breathtaking, including green sea turtles at cleaning stations and various fish species such as convict surgeons, Hawaiian Tobys, and trigger fish. I even had the pleasure of seeing a moray eel! The snorkeling here is perfect for beginners, making it an excellent family activity. Additionally, there is ample parking, but arriving early is advisable for the best experience.

Moloa'a Beach

We spent 10 days at a beachfront house in Moloa'a beach and it felt like we had the entire Kauai beach to ourselves. It's definitely the best kept secret on the island!

This beach park is fantastic as it is connected to Anini beach, making it perfect for snorkeling. It offers convenient amenities such as bathrooms, showers, and a decent number of parking spots. Snorkelers will be delighted by the abundance of turtles, diverse fish species, a cleaning station, and numerous other fascinating sights. However, it's worth noting that the reef can become shallow during low tide.
