Whenever I visit this beach, it is always bustling with activity, yet it never fails to mesmerize me with its stunning beauty. As we made our way back home, this was our final destination, where we were treated to a breathtaking sunset that left us in awe.

This is a great spot if you're looking for some solitude. It's also perfect for catching a breathtaking sunset on a lovely evening.

Whaleshead Beach

The warning sign at the entrance of the beach advises that a 4-wheel drive vehicle is preferred, and I strongly agree. Although we managed to drive down to the beach in a 2-wheel drive SUV, we ended up kicking up some rocks along the way. Despite the windy weather, the beach was breathtakingly beautiful. The Whaleshead creek flows into the ocean at this location and carves through the beach's black sand, creating an awe-inspiring visual effect. The hiking trails are delightful, and there are well-maintained picnic tables available at the parking area. If you can safely make it down to this beach, it's definitely worth the trip!

China Beach

This beach is one of the finest in the vicinity. Although the descent to the beach is somewhat steep, it is definitely worth the effort.
