Cayo Santa Maria III

Honestly if you want a relaxing vacation come here. We were 7 people in the ENTIRE resort. Rooms were clean, food was not good no buffet the first 3 days. Same food everyday. Bartender would make me go behind bar and make me pour him and his buddies drinks. While I kept saying no he would beg & beg for me to do it for him. Not sure what the difference is if I was to do it or if he pours himself a drink. Language barrier with the front desk makes it hard to communicate. For $750/person you get what you pay for even tho the resort beside us was packed with people and the food was amazing.

I was a bit skeptical at first after seeing a few reviews before hand but I must say this is an amazing resort. The food was good and the staff were great. The staff catered every need and were very friendly. They made sure we were our stay at every step of the way. Above and beyond does very little to capture the service they offered. If you are looking for a relaxing getaway I definitely recommend Roc Casa Del Mar (Ocean Casa Del Mar). The rooms were clean and we would come back to a lovely towel design after relaxing at the pool each day. ☺️ It is truly a gem and is worth the experience.

Absolute gem! Loved it all! They took care of every detail! Lobby, seating areas, room cleaning, pool parties, music at the beach (optional quiet area also available), dive shop staff were great! So many fishermen around with knowledge and so fun to watch! We saw sting ray, manta ray and many little reefs you can swim to -right off the resort. The beach was immaculate! Lovely spots to walk to right off the beach, beautiful seashells everywhere. I always love the food in Cuba! it’s locally grown in-season and organic, fresh fish and organic chicken was served every day - sorry to those dedicated to Heinz and Kraft- non of that garbage here! Loved the coffee and cappuccinos also! wifi was free and easily accessible- if you really must stay connected lol

The staff at this resort were absolutely wonderful. From the cleaning ladies, bartenders and cooks all were great. The entertainment staff was fantastic, Manuel, Danny, Tito and the rest of the team were awesome. Always getting people up and moving. Very friendly and respectful. Beach was absolutely beautiful. And the food was okay as long as your expectations aren’t high you’ll be good. Considering the food crisis in the country everything was pretty good.

The staff members at the resort are the best. They are super friendly and they would do all they can to ensure that you’re having a pleasant stay. Yes, the resources are limited,, but you don’t go to Cuba just for the food, Cuba is all about the culture, the nice people and DANCING ALL NIGHT LONG! Wladimir, our butter did all he could to ensure that are being taken care of. The entertainment team at the resort is the best by all means. They are always working hard to make you happy, whether you’re at the beach, pool side or at night. I enjoyed their dance shows, choreography, efforts ,,,, they are simply the best. Make sure not to miss their showtime,,, the effort that they put into the show is priceless.
