On the way to Kazbegi, we stop at the picturesque Zhinvali Water Reservoir, and then visit the Ananuri Castle on the Aragvi River. At an altitude of 2200 meters above the sea level, on the southern side of the plateau of the Greater Caucasus Range, and near the Cross Pass, there is the Gudauri Ski resort.
