Driving along the coast of Clare, witness the power of the Atlantic Ocean as it battles the coastline. Board the ferry in Doolin for Inisheer, the smallest and nearest of the Gaeltacht Aran Islands. Keep an eye out for local bottlenose dolphins that occasionally follow the ferry. On Inisheer, explore ancient castles, churches, narrow lanes, stone walls and deserted white sand beaches. The return ferry takes you on a guided scenic cruise beneath the spectacular Cliffs of Moher (weather permitting). Returning to Doolin, you go to the top of the Cliffs of Moher where you can take a stroll along the Cliffs. Departing the Cliffs you return to Galway.

Departing from Galway at 10:00 AM, you begin your fully guided tour of Connemara & Cong at our first photo stop near the scenic Inagh Valley. Our main stop is the enchanting Kylemore Abbey & Victorian Walled Gardens. The admission fee for Kylemore Abbey is charged separately at the discounted price of €14 per person (tickets are purchased in cash from your driver). Admission includes entrance to the Abbey, the shuttle bus to the walled gardens and entry to the Neo Gothic Church. There is also a restaurant where you can purchase a hearty lunch and a gift shop for souvenirs. After this visit you explore the wilder Connemara regions visiting Killary Fjord and experience the stark beauty of the valleys of Connemara through the hidden Lough Nafooey route. Arriving in Cong village, you will enjoy a 45-minute break to inspect the ruins of the Old Abbey and take a walk in Cong Woods, wander the streets made famous by the Quiet Man movie before returning to Galway by approximately 18:00

We depart Galway at 10:00 and begin your tour by exploring the Burren region. The first stop is Dunguaire Castle and Kinvara, where we take approximately 15 minutes to view the outside of the castle. Continuing on to Poulnabrone Dolmen, one of the most ancient religious sites in Ireland at 5800 years old, we make another short stop of approximately 10-15 minutes. We then stop in the quaint fishing village of Doolin to enjoy some lunch for around 45-50 minutes (lunch is NOT included in the ticket cost). After that, we arrive at the Cliffs of Moher where we have a stop of 2 hours of free time. This is the highlight of the day with ample time to walk the cliff edge and enjoy one of the most incredible natural sites in the world! Once finished, we return to Galway via the Coast Road with spectacular views over the Aran Islands and Galway Bay, returning to Galway city centre at 18:15.

A full day, guided tour of Connemara, an area famed for it’s unspoiled natural beauty and rugged landscapes. Spend time exploring the iconic Kylemore Abbey and Walled Gardens. The Cliffs of Moher Express service is a non-guided shuttle service from Galway direct to the Cliffs of Moher. Spend approximately 2 hours exploring on your own. Departing Galway at 8am and 12pm, this service is ideal for those looking for an independant adventure. Admission to the Cliffs and the eco- friendly visitor center are included in your ticket!

This unforgettable day tour departs Galway at 9:00 AM, travelling by coach along the scenic Wild Atlantic Way and through the rocky limestone landscape of the Burren to the charming village of Doolin. From there, take the express ferry to Inisheer, the smallest and most traditional of the Aran Islands. Explore a 10th-century castle ruin, a sunken church, a shipwreck, and a peaceful beach. Walk the island’s quiet boreens or rent a bike or pony & trap for a more immersive experience (extra cost). Prefer not to cruise? You can disembark at Doolin Pier and wait for the group. Next, enjoy a traditional Irish pub meal (not included), then spend an hour exploring the top of the Cliffs and admire the vista. We return to Galway via the stunning coastal route, arriving back around 7:30 PM.

On your journey South to the Cliffs of Moher, listen to your expert driver/guide share the history of the Burren region, an area of exposed limestone terrain, jagged sea-side cliffs and rare flora. Explore a bay-side castle and discover the karst landscape inside the Aillwee Cave before arriving to the Cliffs of Moher. The day time experience's are held at my beautiful cosy home in Kilcolgan. I also run some of the experiences at my cafe, Kate's Place, in Oranmore, Orantown centre. In my home, guests enjoy the homely feel of my Irish kitchen. In every experience we always discuss the difference between baking bread long ago, compared to nowadays. I also encourage the use of my fruits and herbs from my garden, where if possible, we avail of seasonal delights.

Discovered in 1952, the Cave itself sits 200ft (70 m) below the Burren limestone landscape. Equipped with a hard hat and in the hands of an experienced and knowledgeable guide, you’ll take the journey through an intricate system of passages and pathways, learning as you go how the Cave was formed. It’s an awe-inspiring experience – and you’ll immediately feel the excitement and wonder of the Cave’s early explorers and adventurists, way back when. As you complete your descent, prepare for a moment of eerie calm, pitch black and complete silence – giving way to a sudden flood of light within the majestic cathedral-like dome of the Cave. The force of nature that is Europe’s Largest Stalactite takes centre stage: a vast structure reaching down from the roof of the Cave, catching the light, reflecting colours and detail like a massive, ornate glass chandelier. This showstopper is 7.3 metres long and weighs around 10 tonnes. An unforgettable experience.
