South Mobile Island: 2 spiagge nella zona

Fantastic campsite on a small island near the mainland. We took the Scamper to get there (also rented gear from them) and stayed for two nights. Despite the unfortunate weather, we had a great time. There are several excellent walking trails and lookout points that are worth exploring even if you're not camping. The camp sites are well-maintained, featuring picnic tables with a great sunset view and clean toilets. The beach is mostly coral and very shallow at low tide, making walking a bit challenging.

Without a doubt, the best way to experience the Sunday Islands. It's just as stunning as the larger ones but with far fewer people. We stayed for three nights in July 2022 and only encountered six other people the entire time.

Questo campeggio è un posto fantastico dove sistemarsi. Abbiamo campeggiato qui per 3 giorni e 2 notti e ci siamo divertiti tantissimo! Puoi accedere a tutti i sentieri di South Molle e fare escursioni fino a Mid Molle durante la bassa marea. Il bagno è pulito e fornito di carta igienica, ci sono anche panche da picnic coperte. Puoi vedere Daydream e Conway da un lato del campeggio e l'isola di Whitsunday e il vecchio resort di South Molle dall'altro lato. Ci siamo sentiti super comodi con la nostra tenda glamping che abbiamo affittato da Bell Tents Whitsundays. Ci tornerei sicuramente!
