An experienced guide will lead you to Bonaire's wildly beautiful East side on this tour. Often missed by tourists, the island's east side has breathtaking views of crashing waves hitting the rocky coast, cliff-like cave corals, "Bocas" or mouths of the sea, and unobstructed views. Numerous boats ship-wrecked on this side of the island before a lighthouse was put in place, and there's proof that native Indians inhabited some of the cliff coves at one point. Your guide will take you to one such cove and show you Indian inscriptions that are believed to be markings of the Arawak Indians. They have been dated back to at least the 15th century. Our next stop will be Boca Onima, where you can feel the power of the waves surging against Bonaire's shore and view the wind turbines crucial in supplying energy to the land. On this tour, you will experience Bonaire's Donkey Sanctuary - a habitat created to rescue donkeys needing extra care, food and water. You will interact with the donkeys throughout the drive as they regularly "say hello" and attempt to put their noses through the car window! You can also purchase a few carrots at the sanctuary to feed a few lucky donkeys while on your visit.  At the sanctuary, you will also see a few other things. The Special Care Unit is an area of the sanctuary where we will learn about the services provided to bring a distressed donkey back to health. You can also visit the garden, where you will see local plants, tortoises, and iguanas.  Climbing the watchtower will give you a great view of the entire sanctuary and an excellent photo opportunity. This tour begins in Kralendijk, our capital. Due to the natural coral structure all around the island, Kralendijk is also known as "coral dike." The highlights on the south of Bonaire is rich in history and beauty, with spectacular ocean views and historical architecture. As you explore and take in the sights, your local guide will give information on the region's nature, economy, and landmarks. We will stop to take photos at the Salt flats, White or Yellow Slave Huts also the lighthouse. As you travel along and pass by the big salt hills that have been a part of Bonaire's history since the 17th century on our way to the Sorobon Beach for a beach break. The entire island of Bonaire is a protected marine park, and Sorobon Beach is situated in the center of it. A bay hidden amongst mangrove trees will take your breath away. Water up to your knees runs as far as the eye can see. The seagrass pastures attract a variety of sea life, so don't be shocked if a turtle passes by slowly.

Our mangrove glass bottom kayak & snorkel tour begins at the lovely beach from Lac Cai. The Bonaire Mangrove reserve is located in Lac Bay National Park. We have three shadow (double) blokarts available so small children (ages 3-8) or elderly parents can ride in the "side car".
