You will be visiting 3 of the remarkable caves here on the Island together with a Native or Local tour guide. We will pick you up at the ship's port or your hotel or apartment. Transportation from and to your accommodation is covered. The caves are located on the North side of the Island. One at the entrance of Santa Barbara and one just down the road at Hill Top; we will stop at the second Cave. This area is rich in caves. The first Cave we will be visiting has a ladder you must climb to get into Cave. When you are in the Cave, there will be bats and many unique rocks. When you are in the Cave, you will see a lot of types of limestones, as you can see in the pictures, and some of the rocks look like they have gliders on them because when you shine your light or flashlight on them, they start glowing. If you like cliff jumping, we will be visiting a small and low cliff jumping after the cave tour. It is enjoyable!!!! :) The ridge is not high at all, and everyone can jump from it.

Often missed by tourists, the island's east side has breathtaking views of crashing waves hitting the rocky coast, cliff-like cave corals, "Bocas" or mouths of the sea, and unobstructed views. Numerous boats ship-wrecked on this side of the island before a lighthouse was put in place, and there's proof that native Indians inhabited some of the cliff coves at one point. Your guide will take you to one such cove and show you Indian inscriptions that are believed to be markings of the Arawak Indians. They have been dated back to at least the 15th century. A former area of Salt Company employee homes and now a place for local fisherman. This area is where we find historic pieces of glass dating from the 1700 and 1800's. Pirate glass and pottery is common here. Marbles have been found here as well. 2. In the 1950's this was the area used for local household and commercial waste. Typical finds here are; home decor pieces, textured window glass, pirate glass along with old bottle pieces. ***Please note - shells, corals and other organic items are protected as part of the marine park. ** Please note we only take guests to safe and accessible shorelines. Those wishing to take it easy and enjoy a leisurely, wind-powered sail can do so, and those wanting a full dose of adrenaline will also enjoy themselves. We have three shadow (double) blokarts available so small children (ages 3-8) or elderly parents can ride in the "side car". No excuses for not participating as we recently had a 91 year old lady experience landsailing at our track. Children, age 8 and older, can sail solo (depending on wind conditions).
