Discover the picturesque island of Skrova on a short walking trip! This tour focus on the island's culture, traditions and stories shared by the locals. We will walk through some of the most picturesque parts of the island and end on the famous tunnel photo exhibition, representing 100 years of Skrova history. Once the biggest fishing village in Lofoten, Skrova has a long history connected to fishing and whaling, but also a thriving community who has been changing and adapting through times. Together with history, culture, food and fishing, you will hear stories about ghosts and local crimes! Most of the content of this tour is not found on books or internet, most stories have been collected and shared directly by locals from Skrova community by word of mouth. These trips are run by a Portuguese guide living in Skrova, who following her fascination by Norway followed the "Bacalhau" journey back to Arctic waters.
The yoga room of Catogården has a beautiful wooden floor and the view from the five windows is stunning. You get all the equipment you need, just come as you are in comfortable and loose clothes. If you have any special needs for adjustments, or if there is some things you think the teacher should know (eks if you are pregnant or have an earlier injury of consern, pass a message before the class .
Standup paddle boarding is a unique way to explore the islands and the nature. Very safe and relaxing. A self powered unobtrusive way to immerse yourself. We will paddle in amongst fjords with high mountain peaks around us. A special experience from the water with towering mountains as the backdrop. Crystal clear water and the chance to encounter local wildlife such as seals, porpoises, sea-eagles, otters and even moose on the shoreline.
Joining our SUP Safari tour in Reinefjorden with our lokal guides will give you a unique SUP experience like no place else. Reinefjorden is located just beneath Reinebringen which is one of the worlds most spectacular view points overlooking the fjords and mountains of the western part of Lofoten. The fjord and mountains has a rich wildlife with a vast number of birds and sea eagles, the water is clear and we will most likely see star fish, sea urchin and other underwater life. We will provide the best possible SUP equipment suitable for the tour. Our expedition SUP boards are stable for paddlers up to 110 kg, they can handle different types of weather conditions which will also make the tour more safe. We go in small groups with a maximum of 5 people and we'll even bring a small local snack and a hot/cold drink.

Scuba diving within the Arctic Circle in the Lofoten is an incredible experience. Discover the arctic fauna and flora of these pristine waters. The dive programs are individually suited to our guest’s skill levels and diving qualifications. The dive sites we offer are ideal not only for experienced divers but also for beginners. You can see beautiful kelp forests, fields of algae, spectacular jellyfish, urchins and starfish, not to mention large fish species such as: halibut, cod, wolfish or flounder. In a 'Day Tours' you can choose between 1 dive or 1 diving-day with 2 dives. If you have a friend or family who are not certified diver and would also like to experience arctic water they are welcome to join the “Snorkeling Trip” which is conducted with our diving programs so you can still enjoy the day together:-)

When the show starts the guide will help you to set up your cameras and take amazing portraits of you with the northern lights on the back. You will return to your hotel with your cameras full of photos and your hearts full of amazing memories that you will never forget. Please note that the northern lights are not always visible, the viewing chances depending on factors such as solar activity and weather conditions. Ryten is one of the top winter hiking and snowshoeing destinations in Lofoten. The hike climbs to 543 meters with over 500 meters of elevation gain. It’s a challenge, but the views from the summit are unforgettable and often the highlight of our guests’ trip to Lofoten. No previous hiking or snowshoeing experience is needed, but you should be comfortable with physical effort and deep snow in some sections along the way.
