If you like to be independent, you can hire your own boat in Lanzarote and go sailing without a licence. In Playa Blanca, you can hire 15hp motorboats to get you around the island's coastal waters. You can sail along the south coast of Lanzarote on set routes, for example to the beautiful Playa Papagayo, where you can anchor, swim and snorkel. The boat hire in Playa Blanca is also a good place for beginners, with thorough instruction. The Remus boats for hire here are easy to handle and manoeuvre. In Playa Blanca you can hire a boat for 4 hours and let the crew suggest some routes that can be covered in that time with a 15hp engine. Wherever you want to go, hiring a boat in Lanzarote and manoeuvring it around the coast with up to 5 passengers is a great adventure. Fuel is included in the price for your trip in the south.
