Totally unique experience offered with this trip. Take off and climb away using our 80hp Rotax engine and upon reaching 1 mile above sea level we will slowly reduce power and allow the engine to gently cool down. After about a minute of cooling we will stop the engine completely and become a proper glider with a glide ratio of 24 to 1. This should give us 15-20 minutes of silent engineless flight or more if we can find some thermals and go soaring with the birds.

This is the longest boat trip we do. We will leave Torquay Marina and head out into the bay. Dependant on the weather we will either turn left or right but with way we will hug the coast. Along our route we will explore coves, caves and rock islands as we admire the geology of the UNESCO Geopark and look out for wildlife. We hope to see seals, dolphins + porpoise as well as an array of sea birds including our Guillemot colony (March - August). We will take in the whole bay and weather dependant extend further down the coast enhancing our changes of spotting more wildlife. Wildlife is not guaranteed but we will do our very best to find them !! We will also have some fun at speed and a few donuts !! This is truly a great way to get out on the water. Join us for a fantastic coastal tour and explore of the bay. You will arrive at our vibrant hub and we will get kitted up and safety briefed. The excitement then begins to build as you are taken onboard one of our boats (dependant on the activity booked). Whether it's an exhilarating RIB Ride, a leisurely coastal tour or private and exclusive charter. The tour starts in MDL Marina where we make our way past the many expensive and exclusive motor yachts - once out of the marina we are in open seas. We hug the stunning coastline which is rich in geology and wildlife and is what makes the English Riviera so unique. We then look for our resident pod of dolphins, keep an eye out for seals basking on the rocks and explore the many secluded cove and caves. It really is an experience that will not be forgotten.

Once kitted up in lifejackets and having had a safety brief we will depart Torquay Marina and head along the coast stopping at secluded bays, rock islands and stunning coves. Be prepared for the moving bits to be done with astonishing acceleration but then settle into some witty commentary from the crew onboard as they showcase the very best bits of Torbay for you to see. We will also keep a look at for wildlife along the way. Raptor seats 12 people and we are on the water for 30 minutes. Its an experience you will never forget.

Take off and climb away using our 80hp Rotax engine and upon reaching 1 mile above sea level we will slowly reduce power and allow the engine to gently cool down. After about a minute of cooling we will stop the engine completely and become a proper glider with a glide ratio of 24 to 1. This should give us 15-20 minutes of silent engineless flight or more if we can find some thermals and go soaring with the birds.
