This guided kayaking trips take you on a voyage along a famous part of the Pembrokeshire coastline - past Tenby and it's iconic seafront, along the stunning North Beach and out towards Monkstone Point. If conditions allow we'll explore St Catherine's Island and it's amazing sea caves.
Join us in Holyhead for an exciting full-day tour around North Wales. You’ll visit authentic medieval walled town of Conwy with its 14th century castle and quirky mix of shops and cafes plus stops in the alpine style village of Betws y Coed (the Prayer House in the Woods) and views galore in Snowdonia (now called Eryri) National Park with a final stop (time permitting) in the village with the longest railway station name in the world Llanfairpwll! Your tour starts with you being met either off the free shuttle from your ship to the main railway terminus in Holyhead or off the tender into Holyhead Marina. This is a highlights tour where your guide will introduce you to the unique Welsh language and the culture of Wales and its people along with many stories from the Welsh such as “Braveheart” to why wool was worth more than gold. This is an authentic experience exploring an abandoned mine, with various optional challenges; involving climbing, an abseil, a tyrolean (short zipline) and a short boat crossing. There isn't anything artificial about this trip with the addition of safety anchors being the only changes you'll find in the mine, where necessary, as such, it is most similar to caving with the only lights being those on your headtorches (provided). This is the perfect family adventure, Stag/Hen do activity and couple challenge.

Our seasoned river guides will be waiting for you at the Bearded Men Adventure Hub, here you'll be kitted up in our changing rooms and given a safety brief before we drive you to the starting point at the famous Horseshoe Falls. You'll be fully guided for the duration of your River Tubing adventure by our experienced team. Once on the water and after some proof that you can float, we'll head down the twisting and winding rapids of the River Dee. There are three major rapids on our route, do not fear our guides will be on hand to steer you through them all. The most famous is Serpents Tail, a tick off for most aspiring white water enthusiasts. You'll have the option to run the same rapid twice or for the faint hearted there is always the option to avoid the rapids completely.

We start at the south end of the aqueduct and soon enough you are paddling across this famous feat of engineering which stands at an impressive 126ft above the Dee River. Although this style of canoeing is deemed a calm and peaceful session the look over the edge is a breathtaking sight, but with our staff on hand, there is nothing to worry about, especially with a safe footpath on the opposing side. After this it is then a breeze down the canal, learning and developing skills across the way with some games and challenges thrown in. Our endpoint is the Sun Trevor pub which is a great location for some good quality grub and a cold drink.
With our high-end quality equipment and training, be assured you are in very capable hands. We will teach you paddling skills and show you how to negotiate your way down the river safely. With a few raft games and challenges along the way, this experience will not disappoint. Be ready to hold on tight as we bounce through the whitewater waves, surf holes, and maybe even introduce you to a raft flip or two, safely of course. Your adventure will start and end at our riverside centre with thick 4-season wetsuits and full safety equipment allocation. After a quick instructional session, we will bus you to the head of the river where a massive 9 cumecs of pure mountain water begins it's cascade through ancient woodland. This is the country's best whitewater rafting, staffed by guides with international experience. Over 3 descents you will play, freestyle and surf down fast, clean whitewater, each run increasing in excitement and challenge. A spectacular choice for a rainy day activity, the weather cannot soak you more than we will! On a hot day, nothing feels fresher than punching through rapid after rapid.
