The Ghosts of St Fagans: A Self-Guided Audio Tour

Darmowa anulacja

This walking tour takes you on a journey through the lanes of this 100-acre open-air museum to visit several of its historical buildings. They all have one thing in common: they’re believed to be haunted! This tour takes place in a delightful setting: St Fagans National Museum of History. The museum features restored buildings that were rescued from all over Wales and reopened here to show how Welsh people lived, worked and worshipped throughout the centuries. It was the first museum of its type in Britain, and is Wales’s top heritage attraction. Along the way, you’ll hear about each building’s history and the ghostly tales that have been shared about it over the years, right up until today. No one knows why this spot is tied to so many ghost stories. It might be due to the location’s previous use as farmland, and home to an ancient castle. Once the site of Wales’s largest ever battle in 1648, perhaps these rebuilt structures brought with them the spirits of their former occupants?

Lovely free national trust place to members and to.park but if non member haev to pay £3. Right by the beach I would recommend claiming that stirs slowly and lookikg back at the views but you can go up the other end by a path but I think it is steeper. 2x shops here national trust and a local hut I used the local hut ice cream was amazing and local. Beach is very clean and plenty of space and you can even park on the beach

The only issue was the parking app would only charge us £12 instead of the day rate at the machines of £6. Having to bring cash seems daft in this day and age. However, we spent the whole day there. Everyone enjoyed the walk to the fort and back. The cafe was excellent with some lovely pasties.
