We are a family-run business providing a high-end sailing experience on traditional Dhow sailing boats. We are proudly Tanzanian-made with a focus on sustainability. Our trip will start in the morning from Kendwa beach, sailing along the north coast of Zanzibar, making our way over to the neighbouring island of Mnemba. Arriving shortly before lunch, you will anchor in a nice spot to hop off and snorkel while our team cooks your lunch fresh on board. If we are lucky, we get to watch dolphins on the way. After lunch we will stop on the Mnemba sandbank for some lounging and make our way back to Kendwa in the afternoon, in time for sunset accompanied by some more snacks and drinks on board.

Our trip starts in the morning from Kendwa beach, sailing out and straight over the sea ahead of us towards the neighbouring island of Tumbatu. Given proximity we will have a short transfer over and reach Tumbatu after around 45 min. We will anchor in a tranquil spot for you to take your first jump into the water to enjoy some swimming and snorkelling. During that time our team will prepare a variety of snacks and fruit for you to enjoy afterwards. You can lounge on deck, enjoy the views together with some cool drinks. We will then continue our journey towards a second snorkel nearby, which offers again possibility for swimming and snorkeling. Tumbatu is well known for being less frequented by tourists and a peaceful environment with a wonderful reef. We will start our sail back to Kendwa shortlz before lunch.

This plateau stretches out over 13 kilometers to the west of Kibo, up to an elevation of 3962 meters. Placed on the slopes of Kilimanjaro, the Shira Plateau shows the remains of an ancient caldera, a volcanic crater that expired around half a million years ago. Today, it stands as a World Heritage Site, boasting deep valleys and weather-beaten lava flows. These are wonderfully framed near the Kibo Massif, which resembles twisted, modern sculptures.
