A historical stone path takes you from the cove to the plateau at the island's peak. The valley is densely wooded with oak, fig, and poprivici trees, among other indigenous species. Aleppo pine is a scarce sight on the island. The road leads to a dilapidated chapel without a roof and the only remaining large house on the island. In the grove, sheep roam freely, and fallow deer are frequently spotted.
