Charming and delightful small hotel on a quaint island, ideal for unwinding and rejuvenating. Abundant nature to appreciate (geckos, a small coral reef, an abandoned pearl farm encircled by palms, the ocean, and the surrounding jungle) with minimal distractions. Delicious local cuisine, amiable and accommodating staff (special thanks to Nisa, Didi, and Dhayat), and spotless rooms (mine featured a frangipani tree in the bathroom). While the bay is not immune to Indonesia's ocean waste issue, the property's beaches were pristine and well-maintained, and the hotel staff makes a commendable effort to minimize plastic usage.
