I found Sairee Beach particularly good for longer swims. The water reaches a comfortable swimming depth relatively quickly, approximately 4–5 m in places, with good visibility, plenty of fish and fewer sea urchins than at some other beaches on the island. You can swim hundreds of meters along the coastline, using visible landmarks and buoys to practice open-water navigation. Early morning is the best time, ideally before 8:30 AM, when diving boats and other tourist activities begin increasing. Many boats anchor farther offshore, approximately 300–400 m from the beach, so swimmers must remain aware of vessel movements and avoid assuming that buoys create a protected swimming lane. The beach is also a lovely place to enjoy sunrise before the crowds arrive. Postcard-perfect from afar, but plastic waste is everywhere, practically every 3 meters: plastic bags, straws. What a shame not to care about the environment! Furthermore, the sand is covered in gray plankton; it's dirty, I didn't want to swim. The water isn't clear at all. Bars and restaurants everywhere that look quite pleasant with chill music and nice decor. I only recommend this beach for sunbathing/going to a bar/restaurant, but not for swimming! The water seems polluted here, with mud and too much green plankton! There are much prettier beaches. Keep walking!

O local de mergulho nesta praia é fantástico! Tive a oportunidade de ver uma enorme tartaruga e muitos tubarões para bebês. No lado negativo, a sala precisa de reformas. Tivemos que lidar com um número significativo de formigas na cama todas as noites, mesmo após a troca de salas. Felizmente, fomos realocados para uma sala mais espaçosa com uma vista absolutamente deslumbrante. Infelizmente, o café da manhã foi decepcionante e não tinha sabor. Eu me senti arrependido por pagar por isso. Além disso, a localização é bastante isolada, por isso é importante ter um motorista de scooter qualificado.

Em junho de 2023, tivemos o prazer de ficar neste resort por três noites. Haad Sai Dee is a quiet beach, perfect for relaxation. The water is very clear and it's not crowded. However, be careful of jellyfish during the rainy season.

Many boats anchor farther offshore, approximately 300–400 m from the beach, so swimmers must remain aware of vessel movements and avoid assuming that buoys create a protected swimming lane. The beach is also a lovely place to enjoy sunrise before the crowds arrive. Early mornings are particularly enjoyable, but boat traffic and the absence of a clearly protected swimming zone keep it below the exceptional 5★ category.

Postcard-perfect from afar, but plastic waste is everywhere, practically every 3 meters: plastic bags, straws. What a shame not to care about the environment! Furthermore, the sand is covered in gray plankton; it's dirty, I didn't want to swim. The water isn't clear at all. Bars and restaurants everywhere that look quite pleasant with chill music and nice decor. I only recommend this beach for sunbathing/going to a bar/restaurant, but not for swimming! The water seems polluted here, with mud and too much green plankton! There are much prettier beaches. Keep walking!

Beautiful sandy beach with delicious food on both sides! No high waves as they are broken by rocks, and it's not crowded. Also great for snorkeling!

Sunch a great beach and very calm. You can see a lot of fish a d the water is very clear!! There is a good small restaurant " Siam cookies" where you can dit and relax after a good swim. Not very difficult to come by scooter. My favorite spot in Koh Tao.

Such an anticlimax, we made a hike to a dump and had to pay 100bth for it!

Awesome beach to snorkel at - We saw 2 sea turtles which was amazing.
