The natural scenery at this beach is quite unique, but the overall experience left much to be desired. While the "gray" sand is an interesting geological feature, the beach itself wasn't particularly well-maintained during my visit.
The Downsides:
* Cleanliness: There was a noticeable amount of debris and litter washed up along the shoreline, which took away from the atmosphere.
* Facilities: Very limited amenities nearby. If you’re looking for basic services or a place to rinse off, you’ll likely be disappointed.
* Accessibility: The path down was a bit more rugged than expected and could use better signage or maintenance.
Unless you are specifically coming to see the unusual sand color for a quick photo, there are definitely more comfortable and cleaner beaches in the region to spend a full afternoon.
