Visitado no primeiro dia da temporada de abertura em meados de outubro de 2021. As ilhas estavam no auge depois de meses de fechamento e sem interrupções pela presença humana. Comparando com minha última visita há mais de 10 anos, a condição e a vida subaquática estavam infelizmente diminuindo. Menos variedade de habitantes e corais. As cavernas subaquáticas continuavam sendo o destaque. Corais moles e alguns nudibrânquios também. Vamos manter e preservar nossa natureza.

Great spot for snorkeling. Lots of corals, starfish and large variety of fish including clown fish. The water is crystal clear.

Uma praia de areia realmente ótima com alguns bares e massagens. Recomendamos a parte sul para entrar na água. Sem mais pedras e seixos! Aproveite!!

Beautiful beach. We were almost alone there at high tide and had a fantastic swim!

Very relaxed beach in Ko Lanta. Further into the island and less developed and busy with nice forest backdrop. Cleaner but with less facilities compared to the popular beaches.

The most beautiful hotel with two private beaches 🫶 The staff was very friendly, helping with suitcases and various matters related to trips, for example. The food was excellent, the drinks were excellent, and the fruit was delicious. 😍 The rooms, or rather cottages, were air-conditioned and had a balcony with a hammock – the view was stunning! The coconut on the beach was the best in all of Thailand 😋

Awesome beach. More of a family beach compared to others. Water is deeper than long beach but this is a quieter more peaceful beach with very good accomodations and awesome bars. Go to Magestic Bar and ask about the late pineapple delivery ! Tell them Chris and Vicki sent you! The owner has the most addictive laugh you will ever come across and they make the best cocktails on Klong Nin.

Pretty basic beach. If you don’t have an umbrella with you - there is no natural shade to hide. But it is definitely good for endless walk.

É uma ótima praia, tranquila e com muita sombra. Na minha opinião, muito melhor do que a praia de Ao Nang. Você pode encontrar alguns restaurantes nas proximidades e se tiver uma scooter ou um carro, pode encontrar muito mais lugares para comer a apenas três minutos de viagem.

A luxurious beach, absolutely gorgeous, super clean, huge, and with plenty of shade! The water is crystal clear and waveless.

Phra Ae Beach e Long Beach são a mesma praia? É uma longa linha costeira com bastante espaço entre a terra e a costa. Ótimo ponto para assistir ao pôr do sol. ===== HUMANO Se você encontrar lixo na praia, é definitivamente gratuito pedir 1 saco de plástico usado ao redor do resort, recolhê-lo e pedir aos funcionários do resort para jogá-los fora para você. Um saco para uma dose de estímulo de dopamina. Pergunte a eles com um sorriso no rosto. É melhor ajudar do que amaldiçoar, afinal, aquele lixo é de países do primeiro mundo, recolha-o e veja você mesmo o rótulo, tá?

Many Thai islands boast lovely resorts, stunning scenery, white-sand beaches, turquoise waters, palm trees, and delicious food. But trust me when I say I particularly enjoyed THIS resort on THIS island! The staff were exceptional: friendly, helpful, yet unobtrusive. Whenever we requested something, the response was usually 'yes,' and it would be taken care of promptly, even during busy times. It was a delightful surprise to return to our room in the afternoon and find towels artfully shaped into swans with fresh blossoms adorning them! Such a beautiful and thoughtful touch. The location is truly breathtaking, right on the beach with a view of the sea, framed by karsts and other islands. There are plenty of sun loungers available, but if you prefer, you can also enjoy the view from the pool. Breakfast was good, though the coffee was a bit bitter. There was lovely fresh fruit, yogurt, an egg station, and more. We also had lunch at the hotel restaurant one day, and it was delicious. Some might find the island too quiet – there are no roads, fire shows on the beach, nightclubs, and so on. Honestly, I was worried we might get bored. I was wrong! Besides relaxing on the resort's picture-perfect beach, we enjoyed a lovely 20-minute walk through the jungle to Paradise Beach. We also went on a boat-hopping/snorkeling day trip. There are enough restaurants and bars that we ate somewhere different for most meals (we were only there for 5 days, though). In comparison, on Koh Tarutao, there was just one restaurant, and we were the only customers! On Koh Ngai, there were enough people around to create a bit of atmosphere and provide variety for dining out. There are no ATMs on the island, but we were able to use QR codes to pay. If you don't have that option, you'll need to bring plenty of cash. You might also be able to pay with a card, but I'm not sure about that. Traveling to the island on the long-tail boat was fun and easy to arrange from Pakmeng Pier (and back from Koh Ngai).

We stayed here for one night, and it was fantastic. This island retreat is incredibly quiet and peaceful. We took a longtail boat from Koh Lanta old town, and they dropped us off right in front of the beach resort. Upon arrival, we were greeted with a smile and a refreshing cold drink. The rooms are constructed from wood and feature wooden floors, making them very spacious. The pool is large, and the restaurant offers good food at surprisingly affordable prices for a remote island location. The island faces east, so we were treated to an amazing sunrise at 6 AM the next morning! The crystal-clear water was stunning, and you can snorkel on your own to see all the sea life.

The most beautiful beach on Phi Phi, very untouristy

Amazing beach, accessible by walking an 1 hour walk from town, which is quite challenging with the sun hitting you all the way or by taking a long tail boat from town for 100 Bath and walk 10 min up the hill at the end long beach. Only one bar at the beach which serves beers and soft drinks and crips, you can only pay with card. There is a toilet facility. Pretty quiet as no resort on the beach, no many visitors.

It's especially beautiful when there's no rain.

PRO como alta temporada, domingo de março, horário de almoço, no máximo 3 barcos longtail com turistas lá, provavelmente 20 pessoas no total. CON é uma praia realmente pequena, 1 restaurante simples com comida muito simples (arroz, legumes salteados, frango picante salteado, melancia fatiada etc). Não vi tanto alvoroço sobre uma praia de areia branca importada. Você só pode nadar ou relaxar, não há muito snorkeling. Não há necessidade de pagar por um passeio de dia inteiro e gastar mais 2 horas nesta ilha, a menos que tenha muito tempo livre.

MIDDLE OF NOWHERE. This was a true CAMPING site, located 2 hours away from Krabi by road and not even in Lanta—1 hour away from Lanta. You need to travel by road, ferry, and then road again to reach this place, which is situated in a village. The rooms were BEAUTIFUL with a serene sea view, but we felt deceived. As tourists wanting to visit Krabi's main town, we thought it was nearby and had no idea how isolated this place would be. Being vegetarians, we struggled as there were no nearby restaurants, and the staff had limited knowledge of vegetarian food. Reaching the place was very expensive and inconvenient. There was no option to cancel, which is why we ended up going all the way there for nothing. The sea was infested with jellyfish, so we couldn't swim or go kayaking. If you want a quiet stay and are a non-vegetarian, this place might suit you. But if you're a tourist looking to explore Krabi and enjoy good food, this place is NOT FOR YOU. We were extremely disappointed, and our 2 days felt wasted because of this place. The staff didn't speak ENGLISH at all, and we had to use a translator to communicate. WE WERE VERY ANGRY and DISAPPOINTED. The owner should clearly state in the description that this location is FAR and not easily accessible.

A vista é linda, mas a praia é muito rochosa. E o caminho até o mar é bastante difícil.

A praia possui uma atmosfera pacífica e não é superlotada de turistas. O pátio de pedra está repleto de caranguejos, e há muitos lugares para tirar fotografias deslumbrantes. É um local ideal para relaxar e desestressar. Além disso, se você planeja trazer seus filhos para brincar no oceano, há um poço de água doce disponível para purificação.

A propriedade à beira -mar é absolutamente deslumbrante, com uma bela praia de areia e vista para o pôr do sol de tirar o fôlego. Está convenientemente localizado a uma curta distância de vários resorts e restaurantes ao longo da praia, facilitando a tomada de uma bebida, lanche ou refeição. A praia é muito privada e oferece muitas redes e cadeiras de praia para relaxar. É uma atmosfera pacífica e tranquila. Os quartos não têm eletricidade, mas o hotel fornece lanternas para uso pessoal. Cada bangalô tem seu próprio banheiro e chuveiro privados ao ar livre. Embora eu tenha ficado apenas por 2 noites, teria muito tempo estendido minha estadia por mais alguns.

Nossa quarta vez no Joy Bungalows e me dói dizer que pode ser a última. Os quartos e o pôr do sol são ótimos, assim como a equipe em geral. A atenção aos detalhes, os preços e o serviço não são tão bons. As primeiras coisas que nos disseram ao chegar foram que era somente em dinheiro (sem problemas, exceto quando vimos os preços das bebidas e comidas, ficamos preocupados que poderíamos não ter dinheiro suficiente se comêssemos lá em todas as refeições) e nos disseram que os quartos seriam arrumados a cada dois dias apenas (não aconteceu, tivemos que cobrar isso depois de 2 noites e 2 dias e pedir toalhas etc). Tivemos que pegar nossa própria bagagem na área da recepção quando ela não apareceu meia hora depois de sermos mostrados ao nosso quarto. Isso não nos preocupou, pois somos capazes de carregar nossas próprias malas e, naquele momento, todas essas coisas pareciam apenas estranhas e atribuímos isso ao tempo relaxado da Tailândia. Sem sabonete para o chuveiro, sem copos para beber, sem rede contra mosquitos, sem água engarrafada, apenas um pequeno ventilador oscilante (sem ar-condicionado, o que estava ok, pois sabíamos de visitas anteriores). O aluguel de motocicleta no Joy era 300b/dia, então pegamos uma na vila por 200b/dia sem negociação. A estrada de acesso estava uma bagunça e deve ser difícil para a equipe usar todos os dias. Os preços pelo menos dobraram...100b por uma tigela minúscula de cereal? Outros hóspedes nos disseram que caminhavam pela praia até outro resort para o café da manhã todos os dias porque o Joy era apenas muito caro. Pegamos a moto para poder comer em outros lugares diariamente. A vila tem alguns restaurantes incríveis e baratos. Gaste seu dinheiro com os locais. No geral, ficamos decepcionados com o Joy Bungalows nesta viagem. Eles passaram uma impressão de mesquinhez e desdém, como se (a gerência) pensasse "estamos totalmente reservados a temporada toda, por que deveríamos nos esforçar". Como afirmado antes, não éramos apenas nós. Outros hóspedes expressaram opiniões semelhantes sem necessidade de incentivá-los. O Joy depende de sua reputação passada, que não está mais presente. Ótimo lugar, ótimas vistas, mas há outros locais na ilha com similar que podem ser mais atenciosos com os hóspedes pagantes.

Lovely beach, lots of hermit crabs 🐚 walking around and a nice bar to enjoy a beer to watch the sunset.

You can bring kids to catch hermit crabs in the afternoon; it's perfect for children. However, this is a rocky beach, so swimming is not allowed. The waves are too big in the morning, so it's not a good time to come.

Tive o prazer de visitar esta deslumbrante praia ao final da tarde e decidi ficar para o pôr do sol. É um local verdadeiramente isolado, com apenas mais duas pessoas compartilhando o espaço. O terreno rochoso pode não ser ideal para nadar, mas acrescenta à beleza natural da praia. Quando o sol começou a se pôr, foi uma visão inesquecível, com a praia perfeitamente situada para encarar diretamente o sol. Foi uma experiência verdadeiramente mágica.

The beach is rather empty and small, two benches and a swing

Meu parceiro e eu, um casal que trabalha remotamente, passamos o último ano nas Thai Season Villas como nossa base. É difícil partir sabendo que será desafiador encontrar um lugar mais deslumbrante para viver e trabalhar. A ausência de distrações e as vistas deslumbrantes criaram um ambiente produtivo, assim como a conexão de internet confiável. Os cortes de energia eram raros e, quando ocorriam, geralmente eram breves. Nas raras ocasiões em que ficamos um dia inteiro sem energia, o Tom gentilmente nos informava com antecedência para que pudéssemos fazer arranjos alternativos de trabalho. Nós particularmente adoramos a localização e viver no lado mais tranquilo de Koh Lanta, onde as estradas são bem conservadas e há menos turistas. Os mosquitos também eram menos problema nesse lado da ilha, mesmo quando dormíamos no andar de cima ao ar livre sem usar uma rede mosquiteira. Além disso, nos sentimos mais seguros em comparação com o outro lado da ilha e, para ser honesto, não trancamos a porta uma única vez durante nossa estadia de um ano. A propriedade em si é bem conservada e o Tom resolve prontamente qualquer problema que surja. Ele e sua família são amigáveis e prestativos, ao mesmo tempo que respeitam a privacidade e são considerados com o barulho. Era fácil esquecer que tínhamos vizinhos. As Thai Season Villas são verdadeiras joias escondidas e recomendamos de todo coração para outros nômades digitais, trabalhadores remotos ou qualquer pessoa que esteja procurando um lugar tranquilo para viver, relaxar e experimentar a beleza da Tailândia.

O lugar mais relaxante da ilha, comida ótima, smoothies incríveis e ervas. A localização é imbatível e a equipe é incrivelmente amigável. Honestamente, eu não queria ir embora. Com certeza voltarei 100%. As esculturas por toda parte e a árvore antiga - uau!

A praia não é particularmente impressionante e parece que, devido à Covid-19, as lojas, hotéis e bares estão fechados, fazendo com que a área pareça uma vila deserta. Alguns moradores locais mencionaram que estão trabalhando para reabrir e reconstruir, mas pode levar algum tempo dada a situação atual da área circundante. No entanto, a viagem para a Praia do Pirata de scooter oferece vistas melhores e uma estrada mais agradável do que a própria praia.

The beach is absolutely stunning, offering a breathtaking view of the ocean. It also features a lovely walking trail, making it perfect for leisurely strolls. Additionally, there is a restaurant and a café conveniently located on the premises, along with restrooms and even showers for your convenience. If you're lucky, you might even catch a glimpse of monkeys and lizards in the area. The water is delightful, and the beach is well-maintained, making it an ideal spot for a refreshing swim. Plus, there is a vigilant lifeguard on duty, and a flag to indicate the current water conditions.

Visitamos o Parque Nacional Mu Ko Lanta por volta das 17h e pudemos ver o farol e a praia – um local tão bonito com vistas incríveis. Decidimos espontaneamente fazer a trilha de caminhada de 1 hora que passa pela parte superior do parque. Foi bastante exaustivo, com muitas escadas, mas o caminho parecia muito de selva e aventureiro! A trilha era tropical, com placas explicativas sobre diferentes plantas e árvores ao longo do caminho, o que foi super interessante. Também vimos muitos macacos – eles eram amigáveis e não incomodaram ninguém. Uma ótima mistura de natureza, vistas e um pouco de aventura. Definitivamente vale a visita!

Being vegetarians, we struggled as there were no nearby restaurants, and the staff had limited knowledge of vegetarian food. Reaching the place was very expensive and inconvenient. There was no option to cancel, which is why we ended up going all the way there for nothing. The sea was infested with jellyfish, so we couldn't swim or go kayaking. If you want a quiet stay and are a non-vegetarian, this place might suit you. But if you're a tourist looking to explore Krabi and enjoy good food, this place is NOT FOR YOU. We were extremely disappointed, and our 2 days felt wasted because of this place. The staff didn't speak ENGLISH at all, and we had to use a translator to communicate. WE WERE VERY ANGRY and DISAPPOINTED. The owner should clearly state in the description that this location is FAR and not easily accessible.

Minha praia favorita em Lanta🫶🏻 Praia longa sem hotel, restaurantes. Um bom lugar para escapar de pessoas e música alta. Um pouco de estrada até essa praia, mas essa é a razão pela qual ela ainda está limpa e não lotada. Você precisa estar confiante para dirigir até o sul da ilha, porém. Há uma pequena barraca para bebidas e lanches, apenas uma é suficiente, para ser honesto. Muito tranquilo e com vibrações pacíficas. A onda não é forte em comparação com a praia de cima. Um lindo lugar para assistir ao pôr do sol também.

A beautiful but somewhat unremarkable beach. Not really suitable for snorkeling. You can drive directly to the beach by scooter. There are a few shady spots.

Comparando com minha última visita há mais de 10 anos, a condição e a vida subaquática estavam infelizmente diminuindo. Menos variedade de habitantes e corais. As cavernas subaquáticas continuavam sendo o destaque. Corais moles e alguns nudibrânquios também. Vamos manter e preservar nossa natureza.

Great spot for snorkeling. Lots of corals, starfish and large variety of fish including clown fish. The water is crystal clear.

Outra jóia. Tão cênico. Limpo e tranquilo. Pode ser a época das chuvas, então a água está turva como em todas as outras praias ao redor. Caso contrário, seria uma classificação de 5 estrelas para mim.

Deve-se visitar a ilha durante os passeios pela ilha. O lugar é bonito, com areia branca e água de cor esmeralda. Não podemos nadar na área, apenas caminhar na praia. A praia é alcançada após uma pequena trilha e há uma taxa para entrar na área. Havia muitos tubarões bebês que nadavam até a praia, foi uma experiência que valeu a pena.

Famous worldwide from Leonardo DiCaprio's movie - The Beach. Maya Bay is a true paradise on Earth. I am so glad the locals protect it with absolute fierce dedication. There are local rangers everywhere, and I even made friends with one of them. Those guys just speak my mind! He even let me shout via microphone at some of the thoughtless people who were trying to interfere with the natural life and disturb the wildlife. This bay is truly one of the earth's diamonds that we should all protect and respect. Keep your eyes open near the shore as well, as sharks tend to swim right around the bay. A legendary, preserved wonder.

Phra Ae Beach e Long Beach são a mesma praia? É uma longa linha costeira com bastante espaço entre a terra e a costa. Ótimo ponto para assistir ao pôr do sol. ===== HUMANO Se você encontrar lixo na praia, é definitivamente gratuito pedir 1 saco de plástico usado ao redor do resort, recolhê-lo e pedir aos funcionários do resort para jogá-los fora para você. Um saco para uma dose de estímulo de dopamina. Pergunte a eles com um sorriso no rosto. É melhor ajudar do que amaldiçoar, afinal, aquele lixo é de países do primeiro mundo, recolha-o e veja você mesmo o rótulo, tá?

Awesome beach. More of a family beach compared to others. Water is deeper than long beach but this is a quieter more peaceful beach with very good accomodations and awesome bars. Go to Magestic Bar and ask about the late pineapple delivery ! Tell them Chris and Vicki sent you! The owner has the most addictive laugh you will ever come across and they make the best cocktails on Klong Nin.

Pretty basic beach. If you don’t have an umbrella with you - there is no natural shade to hide. But it is definitely good for endless walk.

Tive o prazer de visitar esta deslumbrante praia ao final da tarde e decidi ficar para o pôr do sol. É um local verdadeiramente isolado, com apenas mais duas pessoas compartilhando o espaço. O terreno rochoso pode não ser ideal para nadar, mas acrescenta à beleza natural da praia. Quando o sol começou a se pôr, foi uma visão inesquecível, com a praia perfeitamente situada para encarar diretamente o sol. Foi uma experiência verdadeiramente mágica.
