Lim Bay Sea Kayaking tour is a perfect one-day experience. The Lim Bay, also known as the channel or the Croatia fjord, is located on the west coast of Istria. It is part of the 35 km long Lim Valley, that stretches almost to the middle of Istria. The bay itself is almost 13 km long, surrounded by cliffs covered with evergreen vegetation. In 1980, it was declared a special marine reserve. A peculiar feature of the water in the bay is that it is partly brackish. What makes my truffle hunting adventure unique? It od a real truffle hunt, not just a demonstration. Guests experience authentic truffle hunting in the forest together with trained dogs. There are two important varieties of truffles: white truffle (Tuber Magnatum) and black truffle (Tuber Melanosporum).
