A short break in the pine forest of the Sanctuary of the Guard for a first suggestive shot of the Gulf of Sanremo and on the road towards Ceriana. A very well-kept village, set in the mountains with 22 churches and a culinary tradition of the highest level. On departing from Monterosso, while enjoying the welcome drink, we will sail across the whole coast of Cinque Terre, all the way to Riomaggiore and Punta Montenero which close the National park on the south-east. Along the coast you will take a break to give our guests the opportunity to swim in one of the wonderful coves of this area. Back on the boat, we will navigate to Punta Mesco across the most north-western point of Cinque Terre National Park. Here you will admire the fascinating landscape made of lights and colors and if you are lucky you will see some dolphins breaching the sea-surface. A plunge in this wonderful sea can’t be missed. In an unique atmosphere that only the amazing panorama of 5 Terre with the sun dropping into the sea can create, our staff will be pleased to offer guests a savory, rich Italian aperitivo made of typical products.

After meeting your guide near the cruise terminal, board a private bus to Santa Margherita Ligure to enjoy a taste of authentic Genoese focaccia. Next, embark on a scenic boat ride to Portofino, renowned for its elegance and colorful harbor. Enjoy 2 hours of free time to explore at your leisure: wander the picturesque streets, relax at a seaside café, shop in charming boutiques, or hike to panoramic viewpoints. After returning by boat to Santa Margherita Ligure, travel back by bus to the original meeting point in Genoa. Here, guests on the 5.5-hour option will complete their tour with a quick and comfortable return to their ship. Guests who chose the extended option will continue on a guided walking tour through Genoa’s historic center to admire its UNESCO World Heritage sites. Led by an English and Spanish-speaking guide, this tour guarantees a rich experience and a timely return to your cruise ship.

Departing from Manarola, while enjoying a welcome drink, you will sail through the entire Cinque Terre coast, to Riomaggiore and Punta Montenero which closes the southeast side of the wonderful Cinque Terre National Park. You will also have the chance to swim near the coast, diving into the clear waters of the Ligurian Sea. Once everyone is back on the boat, we will head to Punta Mesco, the most northwestern point of the National Park. From there you can admire the fascinating landscape made of lights and colors.

Semi-Private Small-Group (up to 8 people) Cinque Terre and Pisa leaning tower tour in a Black Mercedes Minivan. Only in a small group, it becomes possible to visit the Cinque Terre and experience all the true magic of this enchanted coastline. We will visit 3 of the 5 villages on Cinque terre, using trains and boat. Usually the towns we visit are Riomaggiore, Manarola and Vernazza. You can hike, it you wish to, from Riomaggiore to Manarola. 1 hour hike (this is subject to availability based on weather/danger). The driver will follow you by boat/train. Public boats also operate subject to weather conditions and along the Cinque Terre from April until about the 3rd week of October.

On an extended trip to the small, family-run shops and stalls of the Sanremo fruit and vegetable Market you’ll source the best local ingredients in season. We will have the class in my kitcken, equipped with all the necessary tools to let everybody enjoy and appreciate the art of cooking. We will have dinner or lunch on the terrace under a patio, with a stunning sea view both in sunny or rainy days.

A private day through Piedmont's greatest wine country, guided by a certified wine educator. We begin at 9:00 over coffee at our Turin wine studio, then drive into the UNESCO-listed Roero hills. You'll walk among the vines to understand the terroir, step inside the cellar to learn about local winemaking, then settle in for a 5-wine tasting, including a remarkable Barolo, paired with local cheeses, cured meats and focaccia. Then we head to the Langhe, wander Barolo village, and stop for another glass of Barolo, before heading to a winery in Barbaresco. Since 2019, we are the first to offer Vernazza an experience dedicated to preparing pesto in the mortar, combining cooking, territory, conviviality, and tasting. You will learn to prepare pesto by hand, using selected ingredients. The experience takes place in a typical Cinque Terre cellar, with stone and wood, reminiscent of the atmosphere of old Vernazza. 12:30 - PESTO CLASS We will start with wine, focaccia, cheeses, and extra virgin olive oils. You will prepare your pesto in the mortar while tasting a second wine. The pesto will then be used to dress the gnocchi which you will eat with a third wine. We will conclude with limoncello and chocolate. 3:00 PM or 5:30 PM – PESTO SNACK CLASS After a taste of wine, you will prepare the pesto in the mortar while tasting a second wine. We will accompany it with focaccia, cheeses, oils, and a third wine. Finally, a real little shoe with bread and focaccia directly in the mortar!
