Once everyone is back on the boat, we will head to Punta Mesco, the most northwestern point of the National Park. From there you can admire the fascinating landscape of lights and colours and - if you are lucky enough - you will see the dolphins playing on the surface of the sea. You will start the experience with the visit of an historic wine cellar in Manarola which has been preserved through the years. Then, you will reach the Tasting Room with an AIS professional sommelier who will guide you in this sensory experience. You'll taste 3 local wines using all the senses.

The aim is to make the real Cinque Terre known, their history which is very much linked to the production of wine, for this we will take a walk in the vineyards to be able to see up close the famous dry stone walls and the vineyards clinging to the rock. Later we will visit an authentic and ancient production cellar in the country and then we will taste with a technical guide of a native sommelier of Manarola and connoisseur of the wine of the Cinque Terre and their history. We will taste 3 wines and recognize the different wine aromas and its sensations.

Discover the ancient culinary secrets of the Cinque Terre in a typical Italian atmosphere, guided by a passionate local foodie. Forget modern blenders—in this intimate class, you will learn to make Italy’s most famous green sauce the traditional way: entirely by hand using a classic marble mortar and wooden pestle. Using only the freshest local ingredients, including sweet basil leaves and premium pine nuts, you'll master the perfect technique while hearing fascinating stories about Ligurian traditions. After the hard work, it’s time to relax! Sit down with your group to enjoy the fruits of your labor, tasting your freshly pounded pesto on delicious homemade focaccia, perfectly paired with a crisp glass of local Cinque Terre white wine. You will even take the secret recipe home to surprise your friends!

Since 2019, we are the first to offer Vernazza an experience dedicated to preparing pesto in the mortar, combining cooking, territory, conviviality, and tasting. You will learn to prepare pesto by hand, using selected ingredients. The experience takes place in a typical Cinque Terre cellar, with stone and wood, reminiscent of the atmosphere of old Vernazza. 12:30 - PESTO CLASS We will start with wine, focaccia, cheeses, and extra virgin olive oils. You will prepare your pesto in the mortar while tasting a second wine. The pesto will then be used to dress the gnocchi which you will eat with a third wine. We will conclude with limoncello and chocolate. 3:00 PM or 5:30 PM – PESTO SNACK CLASS After a taste of wine, you will prepare the pesto in the mortar while tasting a second wine. We will accompany it with focaccia, cheeses, oils, and a third wine. Finally, a real little shoe with bread and focaccia directly in the mortar!
