A beautiful resort, but need to improve their service and maintainance. One of our friend s room AC stopped work at middle of tge night and no one to call and finally we found a person and he couldnt change the room. Bathroom water was brown color.

The whole experience was extremely disappointing! The rooms were decent and clean, and the location is beautiful, most staff were friendly but this is were it finished! From the start they charged extra from the original booking.com quote. They put this down to extra charges for the childrens breakfast, which was never outlined in my original booking. We never realized that the kitchen would not be open outside of breakfast, lunch and dinner times. So there was no way to get any snacks during the day and considering it's isolated location it is very difficult to go anywhere else. We chose the bbq buffet which was average on the first night, then chose the Easter lunch buffet the following day, which was nearly the same but for an extra $20 more each! For Easter we had our children down to join the Easter egg hunt, which was said to start at 2.30pm on their Facebook page, but when we went down at 2.20pm, they said that they had already completed the hunt. Whilst sitting at the bar, it was far from a peaceful time as they kept blaring the music and not caring about the paying customers but rather for the staffs own enjoyment. Overall, the place was also messy and little to no care given to the general matenence. I would not recommend this place to stay! Save your money and go somewhere else. If you do stay, make sure you check your bill is correct before paying!

We’re a family of 5, booked for an overnight stay *Some highlights from our visit* The kitchen and bar staff were amazing and very helpful. We asked for interconnected rooms and had no troubles with this, also felt that the rooms were fairly priced. The food was great! Very happy that local fish was used and not the yuck basa that you’d find more common around the island. (Highly recommend Chicken n chips for kids, Catch of the day with white sauce & capers!) The beds were comfortable and AC everywhere including hallway was great! Beach was lovely during low tide, swimming pool is built with a very safe depth for most ages. Breakfast buffet was great!(great hash browns and breakfast sausages which the kids loved). Also the best scrambled eggs I’ve ever had at any hotel. *Areas for improvement* We arrived a couple of hours after the check in time we were advised , but still had to wait for our rooms to be ready. We booked 2 rooms and both did not have hot water. Waited over an hour for room service and when arrived, we only received a fraction of our meals, then when we received our food the fries was cold which indicated that maybe it was ready, they just didn’t have enough staff to deliver room service once it was ready. We were told breakfast would be ready at 7:30, but was not ready until 8am (toast was already toasted and laid out so we had some soggy bread) Both the rooms we booked did not have hot water (weren’t warned about this) The WiFi wouldn’t connect to the smart TVs(both rooms), which would’ve been great when the rain kept us indoors (wifi worked fine for our devices). Receptionists seemed a little inexperienced, and it was obvious there isn’t much structure with staff and their roles (this is not to say they weren’t working hard—they were, they just didn’t have a great system) At one point there was a staff member smoking in an area that clearly should be smoke free! There is so much room for improvement and given the location, beautiful surroundings and infrastructure this could easily be one of the best resorts in Upolu. Hope to see improvement during our next visit.

This place is only getting a 2 star and not a 1 star because their staff were caring & friendly & very apologetic. Where to even begin! First of all this place needs change of management. It is so poorly run, that we even noticed that when people needed help, this manager hid inside her office and would not come out to attend to peoples complaints. This is unacceptable especially when we demanded to speak to her along with a few other guests. Poor leadership reflects a poorly run place of business. We booked our stay for 2 nights but after a very bad experience we decided to check out early and get a refund. When we checked into our room we were greeted by a wall of insects and flies. We could not get through to reception 95% of the time as there was never anybody there to help, so we constantly had to walk to reception which ALSO isn’t a short walk! We checked in at 2pm, and of course we got there expecting to order some food for lunch as the drive was quite far to get there. We tried ordering lunch but staff had told us their restaurant was now closed so they could prep for their 7pm dinner. I’m not sure how you can close your restaurant at 2pm when people are literally checking in? Also, bare in mind this place is in yhe middle of nowhere! No shops or restaurants close by! This was not good enough especially when you have kids who are hungry for hot food! We had no reception, the wifi was absolutely horrible, the rooms have smart tv’s, you can’t operate a smart TV if you have no internet to connect to so that was also pointless. The showers don’t have hot water, there was no bedding sheets for their fold out sofa beds to cover the mattress, we couldn’t ask for extra sheets because no one would answer our call at reception. The very next day we went to check out, and were greeted by a church service being held in the reception area, so we obviously couldn’t check out but instead had to wait until service was over. Staff were lovely but just lack training and have no leadership. Overall bad experience, we wont be coming back here again.

While the resort offers a few redeeming qualities, such as comfortable beds and a large TV, it falls short in several key areas that impacted the overall experience. Positives: The bed was very comfortable, and the TV was a nice touch for downtime. Negatives: -Customer service is an area that needs urgent attention. The staff seemed undertrained and not attentive to guest needs. -The pool was not properly maintained, with visible sand and leaves that weren’t cleaned daily. -Dinner was disappointing. Not only was half the menu unavailable, but the prices were high for the quality of food served. To make matters worse, they were charging $12 tala for just one liter of water, which felt excessive. -Breakfast times were inconsistent. Although it was advertised to start at 7 am, it wasn't ready until after 8 am, causing inconvenience for those on tight schedules. -The resort is located quite far from the main road, and the drive is long with plenty of potholes and uphill roads. Renting a car is essential if you plan to visit. -There were plumbing issues around the property, particularly outside our room where a strong sewage smell lingered. This could definitely be addressed. -Some areas of the resort, including near our room, had visible open wiring, suggesting that the craftsmanship and maintenance need significant improvement. Overall: The resort has potential but requires considerable improvements in maintenance, staff training, and attention to detail. This was a big letdown, especially considering the price of the stay. Given the distance from the main road and the price point, I’d recommend looking into other options unless the resort undergoes some serious upgrades.
