During our boat tour with Seas the Day, we had the pleasure of visiting Grama Bay. This hidden gem boasts clear, pristine waters that are perfect for swimming and frolicking about. As we ventured out a bit, we came across some mesmerizing reefs that were teeming with colorful fish and intricate coral formations. We couldn't help but regret not bringing our snorkeling gear with us!
Aside from its natural beauty, Grama Bay has a fascinating history. It was once a bustling marble quarry and a safe haven for ships seeking refuge from Adriatic storms. The rock walls that encircle the beach are adorned with ancient inscriptions that date back over 2,000 years, left behind by the hardworking laborers and sailors who once called this place home. Be sure to take a moment to explore and soak in the rich history of this remarkable cove.
All in all, Grama Bay is a must-visit destination that will leave you feeling rejuvenated and inspired.

The water is exceptionally clear and there are a number of restaurants in the vicinity. The promenade is a pleasant place to take a stroll in the evenings. The cost of two sunbeds and a parasol is typically around 1000-1500 LEK. Unfortunately, parking can be a bit of a hassle and the odor of the garbage can be overpowering. It is hoped that the area will be cleaned more frequently to prevent the unpleasant smell from lingering.

Jala beach is relatively small, but beautiful.
The water is clear, the current is not too strong.
A friendly place with great view.
We have not tried the restaurants there but I'm sure they are normal.
The prices though are quite higher!
Beer on the bar is 500 Lek/5€ and the sun beds are 1,000 Lek for one umbrella 🏖️
Although you can maybe find cheaper ones for 800.
Overall, it is worth a visit!

Well, I’m glad for the reviews here that led me to go and spend my vacation this summer here.
I just loved this place! I’m glad I discovered such a quiet, family oriented and peaceful place for vacation. Had a great time; it was relaxing, restful and very refreshing.
The room was clean, so cozy and well designed. The view from my room was just breathtaking. I loved hearing the sound of the waves the whole night, seeing the wide sea and the Karaburun peninsula.
It’s hard to find a place in South of Albania without loud music in their bars during summer. Instead of resting your brain gets more tired and stressed.
Well this place is just the perfect place that provides no music in order to rest and enjoy your time off. Best swimming in clear waters that I had in a long time. You could easily see the fish that played at your feet under the water while you swim - my favorite morning part this one.
The owner and the workers were welcoming and helpful!
Highly recommend it for people that want to get away from crowds and the crazy world in order to get refilled mentally and physically.

This beach is just lovely. Of course, it's a bit of a trek to get here, about 20 minutes or so, and you'll need to cough up some cash to the lady at the parking lot to park your car. But hey, the view on the way is pretty decent, so it's not like you're being punished or anything.
Once you arrive, you'll find plenty of beach chairs to snag and quite a few folks camping out here. It's not exactly a private beach, but it's big enough to accommodate everyone.
Just be sure to pack plenty of water, food, and sunscreen - there's not much shade to be found around here. But hey, who needs shade when you've got a beach this nice, right?

During our boat tour with Seas the Day, we had the pleasure of visiting Grama Bay. This hidden gem boasts clear, pristine waters that are perfect for swimming and frolicking about. As we ventured out a bit, we came across some mesmerizing reefs that were teeming with colorful fish and intricate coral formations. We couldn't help but regret not bringing our snorkeling gear with us!
Aside from its natural beauty, Grama Bay has a fascinating history. It was once a bustling marble quarry and a safe haven for ships seeking refuge from Adriatic storms. The rock walls that encircle the beach are adorned with ancient inscriptions that date back over 2,000 years, left behind by the hardworking laborers and sailors who once called this place home. Be sure to take a moment to explore and soak in the rich history of this remarkable cove.
All in all, Grama Bay is a must-visit destination that will leave you feeling rejuvenated and inspired.

This beach is truly breathtaking, undoubtedly the most magnificent one we have laid eyes on in Albania. Despite being in the peak season, we were lucky enough to have the entire beach to ourselves. The color of the water is simply divine, a sight that will leave you in awe. However, the only downside is the route to the beach, which requires you to navigate past a series of newly constructed mansions and walk along a wall. The road is unpleasant and littered with garbage, but trust us, the destination is worth the journey.

Beer on the bar is 500 Lek/5€ and the sun beds are 1,000 Lek for one umbrella 🏖️
Although you can maybe find cheaper ones for 800.
Overall, it is worth a visit!

This beach is just lovely. Of course, it's a bit of a trek to get here, about 20 minutes or so, and you'll need to cough up some cash to the lady at the parking lot to park your car. But hey, the view on the way is pretty decent, so it's not like you're being punished or anything.
Once you arrive, you'll find plenty of beach chairs to snag and quite a few folks camping out here. It's not exactly a private beach, but it's big enough to accommodate everyone.
Just be sure to pack plenty of water, food, and sunscreen - there's not much shade to be found around here. But hey, who needs shade when you've got a beach this nice, right?
