Wonderful place with fair prices. The hosts are very welcoming and kind. The spot is absolutely gorgeous. So many colors of turquoise blue in the sea. Food is also very good! Super nice stay!

As a single traveler,
Spent 2 nights at the Kokoas Sands, which is +2hr drive from Ifaty.
It is a wonderful location, very calm and peaceful place. A beautiful beach and sea just for yourself with nobody around.
Stayed in seaside bungalow, at the ground floor, the rooms spacious, clean and nicely decorated.
I had every evening an aperitif and dinner with Perle and Jean Michel the hosts.The food was excellent (the catch of the day from the local fisherman) prepared by the cook.
I recommend this place.
Thank you Perle and Jean Michel for making my stay so nice.

Staying at Kokoa Sands was the highlight of a two week vacation of the Southwest. We stayed in the beach front guest house which had an incredible ocean view through an all glass wall. We kept the doors open all night to hear the sound of the waves crashing in. I really couldn't imagine a more lovely place to stay. Jean Michel and Pearl are incredibly kind and welcoming. They treated us like family, and so kindly put together a birthday surprise for my friend.
We canoed along the coast courtesy of the hosts and hiked up the beach for to watch the sunset from a tiny cliff.
We also visited The Kokoa Sands Reserve. This project is an incredible endeavor lead by the local community and the guest house. The salt flats and the spiny forest are home to a number of endemic bird species that can only be found in the Southwest.
I cannot recommend this spot enough!
住在Kokoa Sands是南部两周度假的亮点。我们住在海滨客房，通过一整面玻璃墙看到令人难以置信的海景。我们整晚都保持门户敞开，听着海浪拍打声入眠。我真的无法想象有比这更可爱的住所了。Jean Michel和Pearl非常善良热情。他们对待我们就像家人一样，还为我的朋友策划了一个生日惊喜。
我们乘坐主人提供的独木舟沿海岸划船，并爬上沙滩观看日落。

We had the pleasure to spend 5 days in Kokoa Sands Guesthouse. We were accommodated on the ground floor of the lagune villa. Amazing, stunning views with a terrace just in front of the house. When you wake up, you look directly to the sea. The location of Kokoa Sands is a bit offsite, it takes about 2hrs drive from Tulear and majority of it on a sandy road. However, the trip is more than worth it. The beach and sea are incredible beautiful there, and most of the time you are alone on the beach, just some locals are around. So the perfect location for relaxing and hiding away!
Pearl and Jean Michel are caring 100% and more about their guests. You feel like in a family, not like a stranger in a hotel. Kokoa Sands is very small so don't expect the luxury of a 5* hotel, but you do not need that at all. The food was amazing, prepared fresh 3 times a day by the local team. The best food we had in the 3 weeks of travelling through Mada! The 3 dogs Mango, Samba and Bandit are also "caring" - really! They even accompany you on your beach walk / run and make sure you are save :-)
We absolutely loved the place and highly recommend this little hideaway in the most beautiful corner of Madagascar!

Had an incredible time down in the South of Madagascar! The emerald lagoon was absolutely stunning, and our accommodation was top-notch. The food was not only fresh but also incredibly delicious. The warm welcome we received from Perle and her team made us feel right at home. We couldn't have asked for a better stay. Big thanks to Perle and her team for making our experience so memorable. We're definitely planning on coming back again!
