Oceanico is the original dolphin & whale watching organization in Huatulco. We are the only company in Huatulco with a spotter at the Lighthouse that finds the whales and sends to the boat right to them. There is a maximum of 10 guests for the best views and adventures! Our bilingual crew of Naturalists are passionate and experienced marine wildlife experts. Our 8.6 meter boats are fast and maneuverable so we can reach the best areas to see the dolphins and whales. We have an underwater microphone to listen to the dolphins and whales! Oceanico has, by far, the most sightings in Huatulco. Wahaca Cooking Classes is the best way to get to know Huatulco with a native chef, you'll learn the history behind the ingredients, traditions and life in rural Mexico. If you visit Puerto Escondido without surfing, you haven’t had the full experience. We offer everything you need in order to surf the amazing waves of the most iconic surf town in Mexico. We give the option of adding both GoPro and drone footage to your lesson. We adapt the lesson to your level, ensuring that you are always comfortable in the water and have the best time. From couple hundred archeological sites opened officially to the public there are only 2 sites in Mexico by the water, One is Tulum in the "Mexican Caribean" and the other one is right here in Huatulco, opened on October 2010 gives you a unique eco-archeological concep, incredible view points and ancient structures dating back more than 2000 years. Discover an impressive natural phenomenon with our Bioluminescence activity in Huatulco. We will take you to a special beach in the Bay of Santa Cruz, where the sea lights up with each movement thanks to bioluminescent microorganisms, creating an unforgettable natural light show. We will pick you up at the place where you are staying that should be within the urban area of Bahias de Huatulco, to transfer you to a beach in the Bay of Santa Cruz. You will receive a specialized instructor with more than 10 years of experience performing the activity. Before entering the beach, the instructor will provide you with life jacket and scopes, then explain the phenomenon of bioluminescence and what the activity is about. Afterwards we will swim approximately 25 meters to reach the ideal place where you will enjoy the phenomenon of bioluminescence in the sea, we will be a total of 40 minutes approximately in the water. It's not a boat tour.

For this activity we go to the hotel and go to the Escobilla Ecotourism Center to visit a turtle camp, in this beautiful place we will be part of the turtle release, the guide will explain the importance of preserving the species of turtles that reach the beaches of the coast and the entire care process until they reach the sea and continue their life cycle.

Hi, I’m Alvaro, and together we’ll embark on a journey to the heart of Oaxaca. Our first stop is Teotitlán del Valle, where we’ll visit an artisan cooperative dedicated to preserving the ancestral techniques of wool dyeing and weaving. From there, we’ll head to my picturesque hometown of Mitla—surrounded by beautiful mountains and agave fields. Driven by a desire to share my culture and traditions with you, I’ll guide you through these majestic agave landscapes so you can learn more about the plants and discover why mezcal comes in such a wide variety of flavors. There will be plenty of laughter and photo opportunities along the way. Afterward, we’ll visit our family distillery to see the production process step-by-step and witness the passion that goes into making it. We’ll wrap things up by tasting various types of mezcal accompanied by a delicious, authentic Oaxacan meal. Throughout the tour, I’ll be fully attentive to your needs; my goal is to make you feel right at home and ensure your mezcal journey becomes an unforgettable memory.

If you visit Oaxaca, you must visit Hierve el Agua. Hierve el Agua is a natural scenery of petrified waterfalls. The first thing we do on the tour is to go directly to Hierve el Agua as our first stop. We stay there for 3 hours to have enough time to enjoy the natural wonders of Hierve el Agua without rushing. There you can go hiking with local guides, or enjoy the spas that are there. After visiting this wonderful place, on the way back to the city we visit one of the most popular mezcal distilleries in Oaxaca. In this class, you will learn about the origins of cacao, where it is produced, and its importance throughout the history of Mexico and Oaxaca. We will explore different types of cacao pods and their unique characteristics, connecting you to the roots of this iconic ingredient. You will then create your own artisanal Oaxacan chocolate, learning each step of the process—from roasting and peeling to grinding and transforming cacao into oaxacan chocolate. We work closely with local producers to ensure an authentic and high-quality experience. Along the way, you will also learn how chocolate is traditionally enjoyed in Oaxaca, both as a drink and as a food, giving you a deeper appreciation for its cultural significance.
