The Safari is accompanied by a professional guide, with a vast knowledge of the fauna and flora of the Maputo National Park including the great knowledge of birds. The trip starts from Maputo after the guide picks you up from your point of choice you will drive for 1 - 1.30 minutes to get to Maputo National Park. You will spend 5/6 hours driving in the park looking and observing the wildlife this park offers. Among the wildlife you will see are Elephants, giraffes, hippos, zebras, waterbucks, warthogs, crocodiles, monkeys, and lots of birdlife. During the safari, you will stop for a short break at 1 of the lakes where you can stretch your legs and have some snacks.

Loved our stay. Beutiful beach, comfortable rooms, good food, frjendly staff a trully lovely experience. Only negative was the constant stream of merchants badgering you buy their whares that pass in front of your accomodation all day - despite it being a private access road. Management needs to controle access better. Highly recomended as a get away.

Lovely beach, restaurant and resort. The food is delicious and served to perfection. With a big Parking spot and nicely served seafood. It’s a must stop if you are visiting chocas mar. The place can be a bit far from the main housing. But it’s definitely worth the drive. Recommended

Carrusca Mar e Sol is located on one of the best beaches in Mozambique. Absolutely stunning location. However the place is in urgent need of maintenance and updating. The rooms are ok, but definitely out of date, and offer very little comfort. The restaurant service is very slow. You will need to come with extra patience but it is worth it as the food is good, when it eventually comes, and the view is worth it.

It's a very good beach resort. You can enjoy the early morning big sized Sunrise. In summer it will be better to have bath in sea during morning hours till 8.30am. Service staff is cooperative and helping. Bring binoculars or telescope to watch stars in the night and sea in daylight. Visit Carrusca by 4x4 vehicle will be the better option. Mosquito repellent should be with you.
