Stunning secluded beach 🏖️with a lot of shade from the trees, clear waters and perfect to spend the day sunbathing. Need to walk for about 1,5 kilometres down through the forest path from the parking lot so take everything you need with you. Great beach day

This is a glorious little family friendly bay, an easy 10 minute walk from the car park on Matapouri Road. The path is suitable for push chairs and beach carts, if you head straight and don't take the stairs to the beach on the left. There is usually shade from the large trees overhanging the beach. A change room and toilet are available. At high tide, much of the beach is submerged. There are rocky outcrops on either side of the bay which are great for snorkeling. A picturesque spot, well worth a visit.

Simply stunning, the “perfect beach”. Check tides because there won’t be much beach at high tide. Well worth the walk along the coastal track. There are two routes down to the sand. The first one has steep steps but if you carry on there is a slope down to the sand and even some well maintained toilets

Ten minutes walk (or even less if you are fast). Beautiful beach, surrounded by forest. There are lots of places if you like to sunbathe, and shady places as well if you don't. Public toilet is available near the less steep entry. The trees and rocks were beautiful, with the greeny colour of the water. Ideal place for a picnic with family.
