This is my top beach choice in Wellington city. The water is absolutely delightful and transparent, allowing you to observe the ferries arriving and departing while you swim. Additionally, there are restrooms and showers available, as well as a nearby café. On hot days, especially on weekends and public holidays, it can become quite crowded. It is advisable to visit on a weekday during regular working hours instead. Moreover, children will thoroughly enjoy it too, as there is a climbing frame and an abundance of sand for them to play in if they are not fond of the water. Overall, it is a fantastic beach with a stunning view and convenient facilities nearby.

The beach is very peaceful. There was no one around, maybe because it was early in the morning or because the water was still cold. It's a beautiful sight and definitely worth stopping to enjoy.
