Wonderful beach that a isite visitor center employee suggested that I should visit. My original intention was to hike the Rarangi to Whites Bay track. Changed my mind when I saw the potential effort hiking up and down those hills. Beautiful views from different lookouts on the road to Whites Bay

Very sheltered sandy beach, loads of parking available and we were able to find a spot even at christmas. Fairly narrow road driving up to here but be safe round the corners and all is good Good toilets nearby and seems like a decent amount of walks from here too however haven't ventured to these.

A must-see when exploring the coast. Not a place for surfing and snorkeling can be fun. There are lots of walk trails in the area, although not for everyone as some are steep.

Great place for family or large group picnics. Clean toilet and bathing facilities. You can also camp at Whites Bay. However, the beach is open to the public. We walked from Monkey's Bay. It took us 45 minutes. You can also climb two cliffs, one on the left and one on the right. The right gives you a great view of the sea. You may need to take a sun shelter for shade.
