Well, an ordinary beach, whatever one may say. Sand, water, feet - everything you need to feel like a part of nature. There are several cafes where you can eat something that is 50% taste and 50% sea view. So if you've ever dreamed that your food tastes as bright as a sunset, then this is happiness. The sunsets here, of course, are like in advertising: gold, the sky, and you stand, thoughtfully looking at the horizon, while someone nearby takes a photo of the shawarma. After all, this is exactly the moment when you need to remind everyone that you know how to appreciate the art of sunset.
Sometimes you can catch that “golden hour” - don’t worry, there’s no magic, the sun just decided to work. The river flows into the sea somewhere nearby, and if you walk 50 meters from the shore from there, you can go into the water almost knee-deep, it’s strange why it’s not so deep... but if luck is not on your side, then you can visit the “sea of miracles”, where the depth increases faster than you have time to understand that you are in it.
And if you have a dog, the embankment offers ideal conditions for him to feel like the main character. With wind in your ears, sand under your paws, and plenty of places to play, your dog might think he's on his own beach, but who could blame him? After all, the embankment is a place for everyone, even for those who do not know how to swim, but love to run after stones.

My review is not about the embankment, but about the beach. We were here in September. A pleasant pebble beach with a good entry into the sea. True, it is better to swim when there is no wave or it is very small, because the depth comes quickly. Not many people due to bad weather, quite clean. Disadvantages, of course, can always be found (few locker rooms, stray dogs), but overall the impression is good. The main thing is that the beach is always open! There is no need to depend on the security guards who do not allow access to some other beaches even in normal weather (I mean the beaches of the Orlyonok camp in Plyakho and the Raduzhny camp, which we never got to).

The main irritant is the retail outlets and their ugly location. There are few trees; in hot weather their presence is an important factor. And in any weather too. In general, landscaping suffers. And I’m generally silent about hotels. They built it as if if they were located at least 50 meters further from the coastal zone, then vacationers would not move into them? In general, there are no points of attraction other than spending money. It’s sad((Nature is nature - until man spoils it, and that’s where everything goes. The photos are not summer landscapes.

I don't recommend going in August. At 1 meter there are 5 people in water and on land. There are sun loungers, conveniently, for a fee. And if every minute they shout into a megaphone, they call you to the boat and somewhere else to relax. There are few places where you can rinse your feet after the beach. We were here at the beginning of July, it was a hundred times better and more spacious. In general, Arkhipo-Osipovka and Novomikhailovsky are a great place to relax with your family. The main thing to consider when booking a hotel is parking, Wi-Fi, floor, distance to the sea, and not the first line, music from 23-2 at night is so loud that neither windows nor earplugs will help. The cuisine everywhere is delicious, like homemade. Have a nice holiday everyone.

The embankment is very clean. I'm glad that people know how to clean up after themselves. As of August 2, 2020, there are still a lot of people. The weather remains cool on these two days. But this does not in any way prevent you from enjoying the sea. Have a nice time everyone!
