Absolutely stunning!!!
Wondering to get a guide or try your own way?
Please dont!
It is a challenging hike through massive rocks, narrow passes, through the jungle and some parts through the water. Trail is not obvious, you can easily get confused and get away from the path. Your safety should be number one and the little money you pay to guide you will ensure your safety and learn things from the locals in the same time.

One of the nicest beaches at Seychelles. We greatly enjoyed our time there. We were unsure about doing the hike on our own or with a guide. In the end, we were happy about the guide because the first part of the trail via the rocks is not obvious. You have to jump over rocks or go between them.

The most difficult hikes will lead to the most beautiful places. Anse Marron is no different. This is the final destination of the hike from Grand Anse beach.

First thing first, the beach is amazing and the smaller beach encircled by stones has this kind of aquarium feeling. The fish can literally swim 15cm from your feet without being scared. An incredible experience!
Secondly, getting there! Getting there was tough. Recommend most people to get a tour guide or thoroughly research the path beforehand.
Finally - if you wish to save 150 rupees per person, don’t pass the union estate. Just go by the beach and wade 30m through water and exit the perimeter. See attached map. The beaches are public and not something they can charge you for.

If you want this pearl for your own, go early. Around noon the tours arrive.
You can do the trail on your own (like we did), but you need to be really fit. We also used "maps.me" app, so we could find the trail if it was not clean. Every serieus traveller should have this app. Some parts of the trail are really dangerous if you don't know what you are doing.
