This place is accessible by taking a pleasant walk through the forest from Cala Mitjana, offering stunning views from the top. However, if you're coming from this side, be aware that there is no bridge over the river, so you'll need to swim if you want to reach the beach - and the best part is, it's free to enter!
This beach near Cala Galdana may be okay, but Mitjana is definitely the one to beat. During high tide, you'd better be prepared to wade your way in.
A stunning beach with sparkling azure waters! Not too crowded, due to its remote location. We took a leisurely paddle to the beach from Cala Galdana, and it only took us an hour.
The wind was quite strong when we arrived, making it difficult to enjoy the sea, but the beach was really nice and quite large. We drove from Mitjana car park, which took around 45 minutes through the forest. Getting to the beach from this side was quite challenging, as you had to take off your shoes and jump into the water from a cliff. It was possible, but some people found it a bit tough.
That place near Cala Galdana may appear spectacular at first glance, but it's not the best one Menorca has to offer. Although it may be pleasant enough, it's not the most stunning spot on the island.
