Discover Tenby, the jewel in Pembrokeshire's crown, on this self-guided walking audio tour that reveals how a small Welsh coastal town became an iconic destination. Follow medieval walls from Tudor Square while hearing tales of secret tunnels that sheltered future Henry VII, then explore the Five Arches gateway's clever defenses. You'll see the Tudor Merchant's House, Tenby Castle, and Wales' most photographed harbour before reaching Castle Hill for spectacular coastline views. Marvel at St Mary's imposing spire, spot offshore islands like Caldey, and discover the town's colourful Georgian houses. Learn about wealth, decline, plague, survival and reinvention that shaped today's Tenby as you go at your own pace through this dramatic coastal setting.
This is the only guided kayak trip that launches from Tenby Town itself - straight off Castle Beach in the heart of the harbour, no minibus transfers or trailers. Groups are small (12 maximum) and led by qualified local guides who have been exploring this coastline for years and pick the best route for the sea conditions on the day. We're a fully licensed (AALA) activity provider and Tenby's top-rated activity on Tripadvisor, with more than 30,000 adventurers guided since 2017. Stable sit-on-top kayaks and full kit are included, so complete beginners and families are genuinely welcome - most of our paddlers have never kayaked before.
Coasteering was invented here in Pembrokeshire, and Lydstep is one of its finest natural venues - sheltered cliffs, deep-water jump ledges and a swim-through cave you won't forget. We're a fully licensed (AALA) provider and members of the National Coasteering Charter, and our local guides have taken more than 50,000 people along this coastline since 2017. Sessions run at all levels: every jump is optional, so nervous first-timers and adrenaline-chasers get equally great sessions - our reviews back that up. We're also Tenby's top-rated activity provider on Tripadvisor, with over 600 five-star reviews. And we look after the coast we play on, recovering lost fishing gear and plastic from the sea as we go.
