The beach is very clean and peaceful, with beautiful turquoise blue water and a tide that goes out quite far. It's perfect for building sandcastles and taking long walks. The National Trust offers free parking if you have a card. There is a small burger van near the car park entrance and clean toilets available. Keep in mind that there are steps leading down to the beach from the car park, so it may not be the best option for those with mobility issues. Overall, it's a fantastic beach that we would definitely visit again if we return to South Wales.
This beach is such a gem of a spot. We were recommended it, so beautiful and the sea so calm. No lifeguards on duty, parking free for National Trust members or paid parking, can be done online. Great sand, very clean nice beach & food van was in the car park up top.
