I found myself drawn to the tranquil shade of the trees by the lake, where I occasionally indulged in sunbathing in the nude without disturbing anyone. During my week-long stay, I encountered only one other naturist, which speaks to the seclusion and privacy of this pristine paradise. Our accommodations at the Riu Karamboa, situated next to the dunes, were top-notch and worthy of a four-star rating.

What made it even better was the presence of knowledgeable marine biologists who were there to ensure the safety and well-being of both the turtles and the tourists. There was a lot of plastic on the beach, which was disappointing. We were also hoping to see some sharks, but given the amount of plastic, it's understandable they wouldn't want to hang out there. The journey to the beach was interesting, but we were disappointed to find out that the pictures of a shipwreck were not accurate. If you want to see a shipwreck, you'll need to go to Praia da Atalanta further west. However, it's important to note that it's dangerous to go straight to the shipwreck beach from here. Rather, you should take the road back to get there. Additionally, the dunes can be dangerous to drive on, so be careful.

Nestled along the coast lies a stunning expanse of untouched beach. The sand glimmers like gold under the warm sun, and behind a portion of the beach, a grand dune rises up to create a breathtaking backdrop. A serene lake or river lies nearby, offering a peaceful retreat from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. I found myself drawn to the tranquil shade of the trees by the lake, where I occasionally indulged in sunbathing in the nude without disturbing anyone. During my week-long stay, I encountered only one other naturist, which speaks to the seclusion and privacy of this pristine paradise. Our accommodations at the Riu Karamboa, situated next to the dunes, were top-notch and worthy of a four-star rating.

There are nicer beaches in Boa Vista available online. This particular one is not ideal for swimming.
