This beach is undoubtedly a sight to behold, but don't let its beauty deceive you. The sand may be soft and the water crystal clear, but the crowds are overwhelming and the noise is deafening. The sun beats down on you relentlessly, leaving you drenched in sweat and feeling utterly drained. And don't even get me started on the litter and pollution that plagues this once-pristine paradise. It's a shame that such a stunning location has been ruined by the masses who flock here without any regard for the environment or the peace and quiet of others.

I had a delightful experience at Playa De Este beach near Havana, earning it a solid 4/5 rating. Being from Florida, I have had the privilege of enjoying some of the most beautiful beaches along the coast, so I'm quite picky when it comes to beaches. As a passionate beach lover and reviewer, I visited this beach in May, just before the peak season, and was pleased to find that it wasn't too crowded or dirty.
I hopped on the bus route and made my first stop at Santa Maria, but I would recommend another stop where there are hotels and more food options. The beach I was at was "sold out" of food and most drinks, except for lobster, which I wouldn't recommend ordering while sunbathing. However, I don't think any of the stops along the strip are significantly better than another, but I do believe that accommodations may be better at another spot.

Although it may seem appealing to some, the beach that is just a short public transit ride away from the bustling heart of Havana is not all it's cracked up to be. While it may appear to be a paradise on the surface, the reality is that the beach is overcrowded and noisy, with very little space to truly relax and enjoy the natural beauty of the surroundings. In addition, the transit system itself can be unreliable and uncomfortable, making the journey to and from the beach a stressful and unpleasant experience. All in all, while it may be tempting to escape the city for a day at the beach, this particular destination is not worth the hassle and disappointment.

Caledonia Beach holds a special place in my heart, as it has given me some of my most cherished moments and memories. This serene haven is a hidden gem, with a peaceful atmosphere and a scarcity of tourists. The local cuisine is delectable and adds to the overall charm of the place. However, the only downside is the occasional lack of electricity and the presence of mosquitoes. For over a decade, our family has been returning to this breathtaking beach destination. It's a haven for children with its shallow entrance and reliable safety measures. Whether you're gazing out from the water or lounging on the shore, the view is simply stunning. Just a word of caution, about 7 meters from the shore, watch your step in the grass to avoid the prickly sea urchin. Thankfully, the coral reefs protect the shore from waves, making it a perfect spot for swimming and exploring the diverse ocean life. It's quite a sight to see fish follow us around, and while some people feed them, we prefer to offer them a healthy snack. During my recent trip to the beach, I was awestruck by the stunning scenery. The velvety sand, sparkling waters, and radiant sun made for an idyllic day. The waves were just the right magnitude for frolicking and swimming, and the beach was not overly congested. I strongly suggest this beach to anyone seeking a serene and pleasurable day under the sun.
