Love this beach! It is a more quiet beach (except on weekends, when parties tend to happen). In my opinion, to becomes prettier the further west you go, and ends in a quiet cove. It has a number of beach restaurants where you can grab a quick bite for lunch, and one of my favourite places for pizza is down near the west end (Chiringuito). It is a quieter area to rent on, and is usually our choice on Airbnb.

In my humble opinion, the beach in Las Terrenas is an absolute gem. The picturesque scenery is beyond compare and it's no wonder why it's considered one of the most beautiful beaches in the area. My experience there was nothing short of magical, as I found myself in awe of the natural beauty that surrounded me. Despite visiting at various times, I was fortunate enough to have the beach almost entirely to myself, allowing me to fully immerse myself in the tranquility of the moment. Without a doubt, this is a place that I would highly recommend to anyone looking for a breathtakingly beautiful escape.

I decided to embark on a hike from playa la Cana to playa Ermitaño. To begin this adventure, it is necessary to rent a scooter in order to reach the starting point. This alone adds an exciting element to the journey. Once you arrive, you can conveniently park your bike at the beach. The hike commences with a clearly marked path, although it gradually becomes less distinct. However, it remains visible enough that you won't lose your way. The hike itself is a breathtaking 30-minute trek through dense jungle, so be sure to use mosquito spray. It is truly a remarkable experience, particularly for avid hikers who appreciate magnificent destinations. Personally, I thoroughly enjoyed it and had the entire trail and beach to myself. Moreover, from this beach, you have the option to continue hiking to the adjacent beach, which is even more splendid albeit smaller in size.

I had the pleasure of visiting this beach back in 2014 and was immediately smitten. However, I must admit that it wasn't as pristine as it is now. Fortunately, Dominican Tourism has taken charge of ensuring the cleanliness of the beach, and it is now a true gem. The ban on motorcycles and cars has also made a significant impact in reducing littering.
This is the perfect spot for a peaceful day during the week, with a lovely one-kilometer beach walk in either direction. And what better way to cap off the day than with a delicious meal of fresh fish and veggies, served with platanas and a classic Brugal beer. It's an absolute must-try!
So, sit back, relax, and enjoy the beauty of this beach. And don't forget to keep it clean for future visitors. If you haven't already, make sure to explore Cabrera too!

This beach is absolutely fantastic. It offers plenty of shade to relax under and the sea is stunningly calm, making it perfect for swimming. Although there are no restrooms available, you can always give a small tip to the hotel next door and use their facilities. This beach is an excellent choice for families looking for a peaceful and enjoyable day out.

Oh, the crescent-shaped beach with its magnificent waves on the west and a serene water cove on the east! It's like having the best of both worlds. And let's not forget the walking path that's lined with a plethora of restaurants, making it the perfect spot for a day out in Las Terrenas. It's almost as if the beach is saying, "Come for the waves, stay for the food." So, if you're looking for a place to soak up some sun, take a dip in the ocean, and indulge in some delicious grub, this is the place to be. Trust me, you won't regret it!

Love this beach! It is a more quiet beach (except on weekends, when parties tend to happen). In my opinion, to becomes prettier the further west you go, and ends in a quiet cove. It has a number of beach restaurants where you can grab a quick bite for lunch, and one of my favourite places for pizza is down near the west end (Chiringuito). It is a quieter area to rent on, and is usually our choice on Airbnb.

In my humble opinion, the beach in Las Terrenas is an absolute gem. The picturesque scenery is beyond compare and it's no wonder why it's considered one of the most beautiful beaches in the area. My experience there was nothing short of magical, as I found myself in awe of the natural beauty that surrounded me. Despite visiting at various times, I was fortunate enough to have the beach almost entirely to myself, allowing me to fully immerse myself in the tranquility of the moment. Without a doubt, this is a place that I would highly recommend to anyone looking for a breathtakingly beautiful escape.

Along with these conveniences, the beach also offers a charming gazebo complete with benches and tables, free of charge. To add to the delightful experience, the restaurants cater to your needs by bringing your order straight to your beachside table. Overall, the beach is a delightful destination and I'm eager to visit again.
