Great atmosphere, lively beach. Shallow for many meters which is fantastic. Unfortunately we couldn't spend more time as we had planned the more disappointing Glowe more 😔. We were just passing by and couldn't get into water with our swim gear. Next time we shall be prepared!

It's a pretty, specious beach with a clean sand. Water is not so clear /clean, but it was quite warm (July). You have to walk quite a bit to reach the depth. I guess it's good for kids and non swimmers. For 4,50 you can rent a beach corb. There are changing rooms, toilets and showers. This place is around 2,5 h from Berlin by train. And btw, you can go to Ueckermünde with DB Brandenburg Land ticket (ticket controller told us, which we didn't know before).

The way into the water may be a bit rocky and requires caution, but the clear waters make it worth the effort. Although it may not be the best choice for families with young children, the beach is well-regulated, allowing dogs to run free and nudists to enjoy the sun. The shore is adorned with beautiful shells, small stones, and seaweed, adding to the charm of the place. While there may be a lack of rubbish bins on the beach, there is some organic rubbish at the top of the stairs. On hot days, the ice cream man makes his rounds, adding to the overall delightful experience.

It's wonderful that this structure still stands for exploration. However, it's disappointing that there isn't a proper museum to educate those who are unfamiliar with Germany's history. It's also unfortunate that the building has not been preserved in its authentic form. During our visit, a large portion of the site was under construction, being transformed into residential and commercial spaces. Despite this, it's still worth visiting to appreciate the impressive size of the area. Make sure to take a vacation here!
