I visited Koh Bon in June during the low season on a day that started cloudy but turned sunny, making it perfect for some beach time. The main beach faces Phuket, but there's a quieter second beach on the eastern side. I chose the second beach, which was more sheltered from the wind and completely deserted except for my group. The water was crystal clear, and the beach was stunningly beautiful. However, it was disappointing to see that no one maintains it (at least during the low season), and there was rubbish everywhere. So much plastic had washed ashore from the sea. It would be great to involve local authorities in organizing a cleanup.
