If you are looking for nice beaches on the east coast, this should be on your bucket list. The beach was clean and less crowded, the water was cold and overall the beach was in good shape. You can avoid a few rocky patches if you like walking along the beach in cold water like me. Cold water, crashing waves, and the sun make this a great relaxing place.
Lifeguards were present on site, restrooms were present on the boardwalk and in the convention center. Street-paid parking was available for 50 min, there is also an option to park in the Cape Island Baptist Church parking lot if you are willing to pay 20$ for the day. The place is accessible to a wheelchair for boardwalks and to the entrance of the beach where there was a wooden platform. There were restaurants, arcades, ice cream, and souvenir shops on the boardwalk.
